Beach 'date'

We spent a few hours r at the beach just laying on the blanket and eating some food Leah had set up. It was perfect. Once the sun has almost completely set Leah asked, "you wanna go in the sea?" "So that's why you told me to wear a swim costume?" I replied. "Maybe, you wanna come in or not?" Leah said as she got up. "Yeah sure why not." I said as Leah held her hand out to help me up. I took her hand and we both ran out to the sea together. When we got to the edge of the sea line we slowed down a bit and walked in. When I say walked in I mean Leah jogging in shouting for me to hurry up whilst I was slowly walking in trying to get used to the water. After a few minutes I finally managed to catch up to Leah deeper in the sea. "Oh come on it's not that cold." Leah said laughing at me shivering. "It's freezing." Is all I managed to say. I think it's definitely safe to say I wasn't used to the English sea after being in Germany for many years. Germany wasn't hot but in the summer it got way hotter than England does.

About 10 minutes later Leah was pleading me to go out to the rocks and jump off them with her. "No chance I'm still freezing Leah." I said whilst she was standing closer to the rocks.  "Pleassssseeeeeeee" she replied. I just shook my head. "I'm fine where I am thank you very much I can stand here." I said. "Yeah but that's the boring part also I can stand here." Leah said trying to convince me. "Yeah but not everyone's as tall as you Leah." I said back. Leah was taller than me. I'm 5,5 and Leah is 5,7 so It wasn't a massive height gap but still. "You will be fine it's not deep here." She said. "Leah I know I won't be able to reach the floor there. It goes up to your shoulders." I said still fighting my case. "Right that's it then." She said as she walked over to me. As she got closer to me I realised what was about to happen as she flung her arms out. "LEAH NO!" I screamed. That didn't stop her though. All I could hear was her laughing as I turned around to try and escape. I was to slow. Next thing I know I was picked up by her and she was carrying me over her shoulder. "LEAH. LEAH PUT ME DOWN." I shouted. "If I put you down you going in the water." She said which was a fair point. By now she was already back to where she was before. "Oh I swear to god Leah." I said. "What you gonna do huh." She said as she smirked. "You're the one over my shoulder." "We'll get me off you shoulder then, I'm very uncomfort-" I said. As I said the last part Leah was moving me off her shoulder and onto the floor which I couldn't reach so I think you can guess that I went under the water. Leah was in tears with laughter whilst i was trying to keep myself above the water. "Don't just stand there and laugh help me!" I told her. "So you do want to go back over me shoulder then?" Leah asked. "No I don't want to go back over you shoulder, I want to go back to where I can stand." I said annoyed. Leah picked me up and made me face her. I wrapped my legs round her waist whilst she put her hands on mine and we just stood there staring at eachother for a few minutes. None of us wanting to break the silence. But it wasn't awkward, it was more of a comforting silence. "See this is nice not me over your shoulder or drowning in the sea." I said laughing whilst Leah just smiled at me. "Yeah this is nice isn't it." She just replied back. "But watching you go under the water mid sentence was wayyyy funnier." I just laughed and looked and the sunset which was now nearly gone. When I looked back I assumed Leah was looking at the sunset aswell but I just saw her starting at me still. "Right that's a bit creepy isn't it." I said "what's creepy?" She said smiling as she knew what she was doing. "You just staring at me." I said back.

"Cmon let's go jump off the rocks now." Leah said as she asked closer to them with me still in her arms. We stood watching the sunset for about 10 minutes until the sun was gone. When I say we stood watching the sunset I meant me, Leah was just staring at me the whole time and I don't really know why. It's not like she likes me or anything. We are just good friends both when I'm around I get this weird feeling. Why do I get this? I haven't even known her for that long. "No leah. LEAH!" I shouted as she put me on the rocks whilst she got out the water herself. "Cmon it will be fun." She said. As she finally got out the water I looked around and realised no one was here. Probably because it's late now and getting dark. "Fine" I huffed as we walked up to the top together. "You go first." I said as I looked over the edge when we got to the top. "Why you scared?" She said back. "No just making sure it's safe you know. Could be a shark down there or something." I said. "Oh so I'm the bait then yeah?" She replied back. "Yeah basically." I teased her. "Right. Let's just go together cmon." She said as she grabbed my hand and started counting down. "3...2...1........ GO!!" She shouted and we both jumped.

"Pleaseeee I don't wanna walk." I pleaded Leah. "Fine hop on." She said as she turned around wating for me to jump on her back. After we jumped the first time we kept going up again. And that proved to be way more tiring than I thought. So I somehow managed to convince Leah to give me a piggyback back to where our stuff was. "yayyyy thank you." I said as I got on her back. "Thank you for taking me here today, I really enjoyed it." I said to her as I put my head on her shoulder while she was still walking us back. "Thank you for coming with me. I enjoyed it aswell." She replied as we got back to stuff our stuff was.

Haven't posted in so long so did a much longer one today this was very rushed tho so sorry if it's bad or any mistakes I might get another post out today if not sorry I'll try post more often now but my football is mad recently doing it 6 days a week.
