Kurapika's point of view:

I walk down in an abandoned city, the buildings were old, some parts of it were broken. I went inside the building, as I as greeted by a woman.

"I wanna know where they are." I said, with a determined, yet blank expression on my face.

The woman chuckles, and raised her finger. What is she doing? I thought.

"You can't see it, can't you?" The woman said, as if like she was mocking me. "Come back again if you can see it." She says dismissively.

I left the building, and walked around. What did she mean? It was probably Nen. I thought. But then, I passed the forest. As suddenly, something snapped me out of my thoughts and I saw something fly fast next to me, hitting the tree that it broke into half.

"What the...?" I uttered, sounding shocked. I turned to look around to see a man walking towards me, holding my hunter license. "Give that back!" I yelled, attempting to snatch it.

He puts his arm up, away from my reach. I was surprised, and mad. "I'm gonna train you." And so he did.

Our training took long, it made me exhausted even. He said I could control chains? That's cool. As that, I swore to him I'd kill the Phantom Troupe using these chains, and that, a dagger was in my heart.

If I used my chains on the wrong people, I'd die instantly.

He became my teacher, after that. Training my Nen and strength.

Few days later, I got a job as a bodyguard, guarding the Boss's daughter, Neon.

She was loud, cheerful, and full of energy. As that, My phone rings. I picked it up.

"Moshi Moshi..?" I said, my voice gentle and soft. "Kurapika?!" I heard Gon speak. "Ah.. Gon." I said. "How's it been?" I added, with a little curiosity. "It's been a while! And we're doing okay." Killua chimed in.

I was relieved they were okay, despite the chaos and the nightmare that is happening to the city right now with the Phantom Troupe, and the Chimera Ant soldiers spreading around.

But how is Y/N? I haven't heard from her.. I'm still worried. I snapped out of my thoughts as Gon called me.

"Kurapika! Why aren't you answering?" He asked, worriedly.
"Oh, it's.. Nothing." I said. "I gotta go." Then I hung up after.

I walk around the building to patrol the area, even near Neon's room-making sure nobody or no one was there to hurt, or do something bad to her.

Checked downstairs, near her room, almost the whole building. It was silent, actually...

End of Kurapika's POV.

Somewhere in the city..

I was inside Knov's portal, like literally inside. Resting while sipping on a drink and eating, after I just killed a soldier of a chimera.

It was an easy job, I suppose! I grin to myself, chuckling.

"What's so funny, HAH?!" Knuckle asked, his voice loud. My eye twitched. "Do you have to yell, old man?!" I yelled back.

We had a small.. Bickering with each other, as Knov sighed as he fixed his glasses.

These idiots are both strong, yet hopeless... Knov thought, scoffing to himself as he listened, and watched us bicker like small kids fighting over a one piece of candy.

It was annoying for him, but it was like we're just enjoying our time together despite the harshness of the world against us.

We were just humans after all, and had a job to do, saving people from their doom, and death.

We finished bickering, as I got up.

"I'm gonna go find more." I said, dusting my clothes.

"You gonna be okay?" Knov asked. "Mhm." I said, as I went out the door and was getting out of the ground. It was raining, but I didn't mind.

I have to find Palm. Palm is a student of Knov. And he was her teacher.

What will happen to her? I thought. I had a feeling she was gonna be one of them soon...

It was an eerie feeling, but it was gonna be real, soon..

But with Kurapika, he was still in deep anger. Even though I already got his eyes of his brethren for him.

He still hasn't got his revenge.
