Missed you. /chapter 9!/

I trained for hours, as long as I can remember. It was around 12 in the morning. So that, I decided.. To rest, and continue later..

Fast forward to 10 am, I woke up. Rubbing my eyes as I went to the living room. I saw Sushi, Gon and Killua training again. Wing looked at me, fixing his glasses.

"Awake now, Y/N?" He asked. "Yeah.." I said softly, yawning and stretched my arms. I then went beside the three, and trained with them. It was relaxing a bit since I had a long sleep, tiring at the same time since I stayed up late.

And this time, I did it! They noticed, and smiled. "Great job." Gon said, clapping his hands cheerfully.

I rubbed my arm sheepishly, as I responded, "It was all training."
Is what I replied, sounding shy instead of proud.

But anyhow, I still did it! But.. My thoughts wondered. How is Kurapika right now? I thought, slowly zoning out of my thoughts. I was concerned for him, worried, even.

With all the Phantom troupe heading for the eyes of the Kurta, and the human eating animals going around the city? Oh, so much stress..

I decided to search him up, as I found out he was working as a bodyguard at a place? I nodded, impressed. I searched up the Kurta's eyes, as it said it was being held in an auction tonight.

I have enough money.. Maybe I can buy this.. I thought, smiling. I looked at the place where the auction will be held, as I noted it mentally to my mind, and went to prepare.

As the night came, I arrived at the auction, sitting down to one of the chairs. The staff of the auction was.. Familiar. But I shrugged it off. As the Kurta's eyes were showed, someone shouted out loud,
"1 million!" They said. I stood up, yelling, "3 million!" The staff laughed into their mic, as they grinned.

"Any more?" He says. One man came, offering 10 million. I was surprised. But then, I offered 10 billion yen. And.. I won! They gave me the eyes of the Kurta, as I smiled. I wrapped it gently with a small cloth, and put on a note that said, For you.

I hope he likes it. I thought, smiling. I went to the place where he was working as a bodyguard, and knocked. One bodyguard opened it, wait.. It wasn't a bodyguard like the other boys. She was small, had a hat and a bunny like teeth.

"Oh,. Hello!" She said, her voice gentle and soft. I waved, as I asked.

"Is.. Kurapika here?" I said softly. "What for?" She asked. I handed her the clothed covered eyes, and said, "It's for him." I said, smiling. Then left. She closed the door, and went to Kurapika.

"Kurapika?" She knocked. "What is it?" He answered, his voice cold, and stern.

She handed him the clothed covered Eyes, and left the room. As that, Kurapika took the cloth off, and was.. In surprise. Maybe rage? Excitement? Maybe he was just happy he got the eyes of his brethren..

He saw the note, which was said For you. He already knew where it came from, it was from me. He let out his small smile, and gained his composure as he his it somewhere; where it will be safe and sound, untouched. Like a money in a safe or lock..

Kurapika then went back to Neon's room, the daughter of the boss, Nostrade. He was debating whether he should call her or not. But.. He did.

His phone rang, as he heard a click. I picked up the phone. "Hello?" I said softly. "Y/N." He whispered quietly, his voice softening and showing a hint of vulnerability.

"What's wrong?" I asked, as he whispered his small thank you. I laughed, and answered. "No biggie." He paused, and whispered again, "I missed you." He said, his voice sounded soft, and a gentle caress to my ear.

I then paused too, and whispered back, "I missed you too." There was silence for a moment, before I spoke to him gently, and softly.
"How are you holding up?" I asked. I always wanted to make sure he ate, and slept properly.

"Happy and healthy, thanks to you." He says lightly. I chuckled on the phone, as I said, "Welcome."

I couldn't just hang up on him, but he was busy.. So that, I said my goodbyes and hung up, letting him work.

Did I miss him? Yes, I did. So much..

I missed his smile, the sound of his laugh, the gentle touch on my hair whenever he'd fix it.

I miss everything about him..
