They got us out racing again this week, and this time we upgraded. I got up that morning and found my bootleg NSX gone, and it was replaced by a GT3 Evo because they trust us now. So now, I'm driving the much more potent, much more powerful NSX GT3 Evo.

*VWOOOOOOOM! FLUTTER... VWOOOOOOM!*

I mean not really, it drives nearly the same, except it leans less around turns. I can feel more Gs as the slicks grip onto the track more, really giving me the feeling my liver is going to fly out of my hip or some shit. However, my tolerance is so much better, because I don't even black out, or fade in my position.

I'm beating people into the corners, so I've remained first, and I hear someone on my radio, but I'm too locked in.

*VWOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! VWOOOOSH! VWUM-VWUM-VWUM-VWUM...*

I cross the line and immediately slow down, braking into the corner and downshifting to help myself. I lose my tunnel vision as I slow down, and I can finally hear what's going on.

Jayce: Congratulations to Y/N for setting a track record!

Y/N: No shot... did I really do that?!

Fiora: Give... *muffled French noises* Y/N, Y/N, YOU REALLY OUTDID YOURSELF! This record has been set by Auri Sol before, and you beat him AS JUST A ROOKIE!!!

Y/N: What was the time around the track?

Fiora: Compared to your last time, and Auri's, you went a whole second faster with the same car at 1 minute, 53 seconds! That's really impressive! Holdon... Samira, what's happening to her car?!

Y/N: Wait, what?

I hear some more panicking from the radio happening as I pull into the garage, and I wasn't around to witness the accident, but what I saw is something worrying... an ambulance van and firetruck rushing out onto the track. I quickly take my helmet off and squirm out of my car, running outside of the garage with a bunch of engineers rushing to her aid too.

Her GT3 Evo looks like it lost control and slammed into the wall around corner 5, which is a ways down, and while it's smoking right there, I can hear the fizzing and the pouring that it's doing onto the track. I see the fire brigade starting to douse some parts of the track with some powder to prevent a fire spreading while I'm just arriving. I see the fire extinguishers inside the car put out some of it, but it's no use.

*WHOOOSH! FIRE CRACKLING!*

The car catches fire, and I run in there with my fire-retardant racing suit to help pull her out of the campfire that's burning to the right of me that was the engine bay. Another fireman helped me get her, and then a medic carries her the rest of the way with me. She's unconscious, and me and a paramedic both drag her out of the car. He shoves me away so he can get to work on her. Helmet thrown into the grass, racing suit loosened.

Her nose bleeding and a scrape on her chin is a sign that this crash was definitely a fault. I'm worried someone cut her fucking brakes, because that's the only way a crash like this could happen, or her steering was unresponsive, which is highly unlikely. I can't even say anything... I'm just in shock, riddled with fear this entire time...

The pulse is good, because he doesn't give me a grim stare, instead starts giving her some chest pumps, one last pump and-

Samira: *COUGH! GASP.... GASP....* F-fuck...

The medic quickly backs away to let her breathe, while I crouch down next to her. She catches her breath as I grab her hand and squeeze it. Her first course of action is the put her other hand on my shoulder, and I just embrace her.
