Fast and Foxy (K/DA Ahri x Male Reader)

6th Lap - Qualifying

FINAL ROUND, FRIDAY!

Before the race starts, I got about ten minutes to kill. I take the liberty of scrolling through some posts. I stop as soon as I see one of Ahri's new posts. She's enchantingly beautiful... She has her head resting on her hands, with what looks like... no those aren't flames in the background. 

She's smiling, leaning on a table, with what looks to be some form of captain's hat on, under her feathery, new blonde hair. Her tails are pink, and in some spots they're red, probably down near the roots. 

The caption says, "New career, new me! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!", and then she atts the record label that got her hook, line, and sinker. Now, as much as I am happy for her, and how much I believe she can get her songs out....

I already know from her rapid change in looks alone that she's not going to have any creative freedom, or worse, false promises...

Good luck, Ahri, you're going to need it. I decide to be the Instagram creep that I am and open the comments, leaving a couple heart emojis as my comment. I then close Instagram for the day. That might be the last time I get her in my mind for a while... oh but you know my simp ass already, I can't do that for TOO long, I'll die. 

Jayce: GAMERS!!! ARE YOU READY?! And uhh... you all can hear me, right? 

We ready up and spam thumbs-up emotes, nod-head emotes, and some people start dabbing and griddying like it's another type of game, all to just tell Jayce we can hear him in the chat. WAIT... HE'S LIVE!!!

Jayce: Good, good, and if it wasn't obvious, gamers, I'm live, that's right, I'm going to be watching you all race, and uh, got a group of other executives behind us, so... put on a show for Acura. 

Ezreal: Holy fucking shit... yeah, I did some research, that's Jayce Talis, he's the head of Piltover Honda and Acura. 

Y/N: Yeah, we know, look it says it right there under his camera! 

He walks back from the camera and sits down with some grimy looking mechanic guy in a suit, and another guy, Ionian, who's also wearing a suit, together on a couch in what looks to be his office. This is a prime, vintage early 2000s streamer setup they got here. 

Jayce: For some of you, you caught on, good for you! To others, well, you gotta learn it, but this competition is locked to one car, and one car only! This is the Acura NSX GT3 Evo, revolutionized in 2019, and has been the team's racing cars ever since. 

He drops his flash cards because he doesn't need them anymore.

Jayce: To those who come in the top 10, you have a spot on at F-Academy, waiting for you, along with cash prizes. To the other 5... well hey, you made it this far, and there's always next year. Take the NSX with you and practice a little on your own. 

Ekko: Well, that's dope, they give you a car that's not even in the game to keep you ready for next year.

Y/N: What do you mean, that's what I've been using? 

Ezreal: Not the one with the F4ST logo on it and ACTUALLY... looks like a race car, look at that beast!

Jayce: Some of you were smart enough to build NSXs on your own, but don't worry about that, this one is built for you, so have at it! 

His camera minimizes and then it immediately starts loading the map. The camera runs through the Silverstone Circuit. This was the track of the original GT Academy, started by Nissan and Sony, however I'm racing on it in game. 

The camera then pans to our cars, and it's a rolling start. I'm able to wiggle around a bit to warm up the tires, and luckily this race is short. Yeah, this race is only 7 laps long, and that's it. There are no do-overs, no championships, no other events, this race... is it...
