As Jul slowly regained consciousness, the sensation of life returning to his body was accompanied by a sharp intake of breath.

His eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the soft, white light that filtered into the room. He found himself lying on an exquisitely comfortable king-sized bed, the plush bedding cradling him.

Taking in his surroundings, he realized he was in an expansive room with floor-to-ceiling windows that offered an unobstructed view of the bustling city below.

The sight of the city lights twinkling in the distance created a mesmerizing and captivating scene view of the vibrant dark city outside.

His silent contemplation was abruptly shattered by a booming and rich baritone that yanked him back to the present moment and a resonant voice that drew him out of his contemplation

His silent contemplation was abruptly shattered by a booming and rich baritone that yanked him back to the present moment and a resonant voice that drew him out of his contemplation.

"Don't fucking give me that bs, ill be after you, so flee the city if you wish but your head is mines thinking you could just steal money from me and run."

The room was consumed by the deep, resonant timbre of the man's voice, given eerie emphasis by the swirling smoke emanating from the fat cigar clasped in his hand. His tone carried an unmistakable edge of anger.

Standing in the shadowy corner, his piercing gaze seemed to penetrate the very essence of Jul, sending chilling shivers up and down his body. He put the phone away, ending the call as if it was nothing.

He noticed that the man standing before him wasn't wearing a mask, and as a result, he could see the man's face clearly. What immediately struck him were the features marked by a relentless coldness that seemed to emanate from within.

The man's piercing eyes held a glint of steel, revealing no hint of emotion, only the unwavering determination of a predator honed by years of experience. His jawline was as sharp as marble, adding to the imposing impression he made, and his weathered complexion spoke of years spent in anonymity, honing his deadly precision. In the man's demeanor, there was a quiet, almost disturbing confidence that commanded attention confidence.

His visage displayed a striking contrast of sharp angles and an unyielding severity as if chiseled from the stone itself. Beneath his eyes, high cheekbones cast deep, imposing shadows, lending an air of ever-watchful vigilance to his countenance.

His brows, often furrowed in deep contemplation or calculated thought, framed eyes as chilling and unyielding as the most frigid Arctic ice. His piercing Gray eyes seemed to penetrate the façade of anyone who dared to meet his probing gaze, betraying nothing of his inner thoughts or intentions.

His choice of attire was always meticulously deliberate: he favored dark, tailored suits that draped effortlessly over his lean frame, reminiscent of shadows blending seamlessly into the urban landscape he traversed.

An air of detachment surrounded him, creating a deliberate distance from the world around him, as though he existed in a separate realm where empathy and remorse were luxuries beyond his reach.

His voice in conversation was low and measured, lacking unnecessary warmth or embellishment. Each deliberate and economical movement he made betrayed the precision of someone who had perfected their skills. While his hands were strong and agile, they appeared more fitting for wielding a weapon than offering comfort.

He firmly pressed his thin lips together, creating a slight crease in his otherwise smooth expression, before parting them to articulate his thoughts.

"How ya feeling birdy?"

His grating, emotionless voice cut through the air, causing Jul to involuntarily struggle for breath as if the very sound itself was suffocating him. And when jul didn't speak, he spoke again, taking a long inhale of his large cigar, placing it on a burner on a tale, and walked up to jul, looking him in his eyes as he spoke.

"I truly believe that respect is a two-way street, and in this particular instance, I may have come to your rescue, my little bird, but let's be clear. When I address you, I anticipate a response. Do you understand me, little birdy?"

His voice exuded an unwavering resolve, leaving no room for compromise as he articulated his words. Every syllable sent shivers cascading up and down Jul's body, awakening sensations he had never before experienced. His commanding voice momentarily rendered Jul speechless; the intensity of the man's gaze pierced through Jul like a finely honed dagger, commanding his full attention.

"I..I understand.."

Jul finally broke the suffocating silence with his unwavering voice, resonating through the room like a beacon in the darkness. He, known for his articulate speech, now found himself faltering in the presence of this man, his once unwavering morals slipping away, leaving him struggling to articulate his thoughts.

Did he find himself falling into a deeper hole?
