"The Bandidos are coming!"
"And Joaquin is gone!"
The venue thunders and shakes in its place, the sound of explosions echoing through the walls. Panic ensues throughout the entire venue, the citizens of San Angel frantically running like scattered bugs. 'All is lost!' The nuns sing, huddling together like penguins. Manolo shields you from the fallen debris.
"Are you alright?" He asks worriedly.
You smirk. "I'm fine, Manny. It's just dust."
"Manny?"
Through the night, the Bandidos crash through the entrance gate of San Angel. Their metal gear clinks and clanks as they walk, hosting various sets of guns, knives, and spiky metal sombreros.
"Tremble in fear before the might of Chakal's army!" Chato announces, his voice echoing throughout the streets of San Angel.
Just nearby, General Posada stands in the town circle, holding up his sword. The citizens flee the town with screams in their throats, sprinting towards solace. "Women and children, go to the church! Men, we are going to drive Chakal's bandits off! Who is with me?"
The few remaining soldiers of San Angel scream in horror, scrambling away.
"Ay, this is not good..."
"Listen up you cowards! These are Chakal's demands!" Chato shouts, unrolling a large paper scroll as his troops stomp through the streets.
"Hand over your chickens, moneys, bacon, jars, mustache wax. This looks like 'jelly', but I think it's 'jewelry'. Yeah, jewelry!"
You, Maria, and Manolo quickly leave the venue, running outside to the town square where General Posada stands. The three of you glare as the Bandidos shamelessly wreak havoc through your town. The audacity they have to do this, especially on your first day back!
"Anyways, if you give all this to us, then maybe, we won't burn your town down!" Chato says, his teammates cackling alongside him.
Manolo scowls, unsheathing two swords from his back. "You want the town? You're gonna have to go through me!"
One of the Bandidos steps forward, swinging around a metal mace for a hand.
"Hey, ugly!"
All of you turn your heads to... the roof? Joaquin, on his white stallion, with his full soldier outfit and sombrero on.
"Why don't you fight a real man, with a really awesome mustache!" He shouts.
As the horse runs down the roofs of various houses, Joaquin leaps off of the stallion, flinging himself into the air with a swish of his cape. Joaquin lands somewhat gracefully in front of you three, with his hat perfectly in place. He cackles, Maria smiling at the sight of him.
You raise your eyebrow, while General Posada claps in excitement. "Thank goodness you're here!"
Joaquin cackles, turning to his best friend. "Here, hold this. And this, and this. Oh, and if that's too heavy, maybe you can just hand it to Maria." He says with a wink to Maria. She playfully rolls her eyes.
You peer to Manolo, noticing one of his swords in hand amongst Joaquin's various accessories. Turning to him, you hold out your hand. "Manolo, give me one of those."
Manolo's eyes widen. "What?"
You hastily snatch one of Manolo's swords from his hand, stepping forward to catch up to Joaquin. Maria cooly stands by, eyeing you with pride. "Just watch her."
