"What do you mean you will shift from Law school to Med school?" Hyungsik asked, raising a brow at their youngest sibling.
"Alam ba nila Mommy, and Daddy yan?" Dagdag pang tanong ni Minho.
The siblings are currently in one of their house's home offices as Ji wanted to talk to her older siblings about college. Tinignan lang sya ng dalawa nyang nakatatandang kapatid after saying that she wanted to shift in to a new course, and lumipat ng school.
"Ji, get your act together, and stop acting like a brat." Hyungsik says bago tumayo, at lumabas ng home office. He didn't even wait for any of the two na makapagsalita.
Ji just sighed bago sumandal ng pagkakaupo sa sofa. She then looked at her Kuya Minho, and frowned.
Tumayo naman si Minho, at tumabi sa nakababatang kapatid. He pulled her to him para sakanya ito sumandal. Minho draped his arm across Ji's shoulder, and umayos naman si Ji into a comfortable position leaning on her Kuya.
"Wag mo na pansinin si Kuya." Minho says. "Alam mo naman na ganun lang talaga sya when it comes to serious matters."
Hindi naman sumagot si Ji, and Minho just continued comforting her by caressing her arms.
"What's with the sudden change of mind ba, bunso?" Minho finally asked.
Ji sighed bago humarap sa Kuya Minho nya.
"I don't think I can do Law, Kuya." Ji frowned.
"Why?" Minho asked. "Are you having a hard time? San ka ba nahihirapan?"
Hindi naman agad sumagot si Ji, she just looked at her Kuya who is now worried for her. Kita nya yung concern, and pag-aalala nito sakanya habang nag-aantay ng isasagot.
"Bunso, you can tell Kuya." Minho added.
"I -- I just can't do Law, Kuya." Ji answered, trying hard not to cry but her tears betrayed her by suddenly falling out from her eyes.
Nagulat naman si Minho sa biglaang pag-iyak ng kapatid kaya naman hinila nya ito, and niyakap.
"Hey, hey, it's okay." Minho says, hoping na sana it comforts his sister.
"No, Kuya." Iyak ni Ji. "It's not."
A confused, and worried Minho just continued to comfort the crying Ji in his arms. Hoping na sana sa college course lang talaga may problema ang kapatid.
Later on, hinatid na ni Minho si Ji sa kwarto nito. Minho felt like it has been a long day kahit pa almost 5pm pa lang ang araw na ito.
"Kuya?" Minho knocked at the door of Hyungsik's room.
"Come in."
Minho opened the door, and entered the room. He saw their Kuya on his desk reading some papers. Lumapit si Minho, and he stopped sa harap ni Hyungsik with the wooden desk na pumapagitna sakanila.
"What is it?" Hyungsik looked up, and placed the papers down on his desk.
"Kuya, why do you have to be so harsh with bunso kanina?" Minho asked.
Hyungsik tilted his head a little before raising a brow at Minho.
"She is acting like a child, Minho." Hyungsik straightened up. "Ji can't just jump courses anytime she wants to."
"Kuya, Ji is a child." Sagot naman ni Minho. "She's our youngest for God's sake."
"Stop defending her, Minho." Hyungsik says. "Kaya lumalaking spoiled yan e."
Minho just sighed. "You are unbelievable, Kuya." Sabay talikod kay Hyungsik to head to the door.
Minho was about to leave the room nung bigla ulit magsalita si Hyungsik.
