Ruka decided to visit the café again, years later. It would be the first time she visited it withour Pharita. The leaves were changing color, and the air was cool and fresh. As she walked to the café, she felt a mix of nervousness and excitement. It had been a long time since she visited, but she missed the cozy place and its warm, welcoming atmosphere.

When she stepped inside, the café looked just as she remembered it. The smell of freshly baked cookies and the sound of soft music filled the air. The corner table where she and Pharita used to sit was still there, looking just the same. Ruka smiled, feeling a rush of nostalgia. She ordered her usual hot cocoa and a chocolate chip cookie and went to their old table.

As she sat down, she touched the half-heart necklace that still hung around her neck. The words 'You're My Person' brought back a flood of memories of her and Pharita's special bond. She sighed, feeling a mix of sadness and hope. She wondered if Pharita ever thought about their old café and their special place.

Just then, the café door chimed, and a cold breeze blew in. Then Ruka heard a girl's voice.

"Hi, could I order a a hot cocoa with a chocolate chip cookie, please?"

Ruka's heart skipped a beat as she looked up. A girl with long, flowing hair and a familiar smile stood there, ordering.

"R-Rita?" Ruka stuttered, not sure if she's the same person

Ruka's eyes were hopeful as the girl turned around, with her eyes wide.

"U-unnie? Ruka unnie?" Pharita said, spotting Ruka. "UNNIE!"

Pharita rushed over, her eyes sparkling with tears. They hugged tightly, their laughter and happy tears making their moment ten times more emotional. It felt like no time had passed at all.

"I can't believe it's really you!" Pharita exclaimed, her voice shaky with emotion. "I've missed you so much, unnie."

Ruka smiled through her tears. "I've missed you too. This café isn't the same without you."

Pharita reached into her bag and pulled out her half-heart necklace. "I still have it," she said softly, showing it to Ruka.

Ruka beamed and showed her own necklace. "I still have mine too. We're still connected."

They linked their necklaces together, making a whole heart. The words 'You're My Person' glinted in the light, a simple but powerful sign of their friendship that had endured time and distance.

They sat down at their old table, just like old times. They ordered more cookies and cocoa, just like they used to. Sipping their drinks and sharing the warm cookies, they talked for hours, catching up on everything they had missed. Pharita told Ruka about her new school, her new friends, and the challenges of living in a new city. Ruka shared stories about high school, her new hobbies, and how she often thought about Pharita and their old café.

As the evening went on, the café grew quieter, with fewer people around. The soft music and dim lights made it feel cozy and intimate, just like the old days. Ruka and Pharita laughed about their childhood adventures, the funny moments, and the silly things they used to do. They also talked about their dreams and plans for the future, realizing that they still had so much in common despite the years apart.

Pharita looked at Ruka with a smile. "Unnie, do you remember the time we tried to make our own cookies?"

Ruka laughed, covering her mouth, "Oh my gosh, yes! The whole kitchen was filled with smoke! Your mom was so mad!"

They both burst into laughter, tears of joy rolling down their cheeks. It felt so good to laugh and share memories again. They made a promise to visit the café regularly and keep their friendship alive.

As they sat in the warm café, surrounded by the familiar smells and sounds, Ruka felt a warmth in her heart. She realized that true friendships never really fade. They might be tested by time and distance, but the bond remains strong. Ruka and Pharita's necklaces might have been separated, but their hearts had always stayed connected.

In that cozy café, where so many memories were made, Ruka and Pharita knew that they were each other's person, forever and always.
