You read Ahyeon's task over and over again in your head.
So, she had to leave you too?
You were still standing right in front of your front door, holding your best friend's card which she had slid under the door. You could sniffles for outside. You felt your tears brimming your eyes once again. You leaned on your door, knowing Ahyeon was probably doing the same.
"I-I just wanted to say goodbye..." you heard from the other side of your door.
You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to stop the tears from flowing. Yeah, that didn't really work. You tears fell were falling fast.
"Well, you did. I'm sorry, unnie, but this is for the best," you said. "Bye. Now, please. Go away."
From what you heard from the other side of your door, you could tell that she didn't expect that. But you knew she would go soon.
"Okay, then. I will," she said. You heard a lot of shuffling before you heard her speak again. "Y/n, I wanted to say thank you. You've been a great friend and someone who I really trust. I still love you a lot. I know you don't want to leave just as much as I don't. But I will. For you. Bye."
You heard her walk away from the front door and you finally let all your tears fall. You let yourself fall to the floor, your face in your hands.
"I'm sorry, unnie..."
