The storm outside the crude and small tent stopped as the sun rose to its awakening. Bubble shuffled out of the tent. The striking flare of the sunlight beamed right onto the golden sand as the land greeted the sun, revealing its lustre. The wind gently caressed her face. It was warm. The waves on the sandy dune never disappoint to amaze Bubble.

Rise and shine, Hazelnut.

Elixabeth woke up with a startle. Her eyes darted around frantically, and her breaths were heavy and shallow. The familiar sound grew close to her in her head. It felt close, too real.

She sat up. The glaring sunlight slid through the small gap between the sheets. Bubble was nowhere to be seen in the tent. The lining from the sunlight warmly caresses Elixabeth's face, it was the dawn of a new day.

Elixabeth walked out of the tent; Bubble was relaxing under the soft breeze of the morning. She followed, enjoying the sunrise with Bubble as the gentle breeze brushed against their skin. It was a nice start to the day.

The door to the infirmary swung open and banged on the walls as Bubble made her entrance. Elixabeth followed behind her. Zestar gave Bubble a side glare as she was checking up on Eca, sitting on the side of the bed. The look on her face seemed displeased with the sudden disturbance Bubble had made.

Eca glanced at the two and let out a soft chuckle. His torso was bandaged from his chest to his lower abdomen. Zestar was pleased with his speedy recovery using her newfound formula in her recent research.

"He is good and ready to go, but I advise him to refrain from moving too vigorously," Zestar explained as she scribbled on her clipboard and then proceeded to walk to her workstation.

Eca sat in silence. His fingers lightly brushed across his bandaged body, examining his injury. His heart throbbed with the itchy feeling on his skin.

Bubble let out a belly laugh. "Hahaha! It has been so long since I have seen you in this condition! Hahahaha!"

"Quit it." Eca embarrassingly defended himself. "It was just a miss. I wasn't in my best condition."

"Haha! A lot of excuses coming from the gladiator when he couldn't admit his defeat!" Bubble continued laughing.

Eca growled in defeat. His face turned red in embarrassment as the two bickered. Elixabeth watched the two as they had a playful exchange.

"Eca." Elixabeth started. "There is not much time to waste. Let's go." She coldly expressed, that the sense of urgency of the mission grew strong as the days went by. There isn't much time for the two to look for the missing soldier.

"I surveyed. I heard that the person you are looking for is near the east side of this desert." Bubble started. "I know someone who knows that part like the back of their head."

"How long does it take to get there?"

"Girl, we will get there right when the sun is about to set if we depart in the afternoon. No one would want to traverse this desert during the sunny hours. Right, Eca?" Bubble's lips curved up into a sinister smile as she looked over to Eca.

Eca returned the look with a death stare, seemingly annoyed with the teasing. "Alright, that is enough teasing in one morning, we will leave in a bit. Why don't you brush up a little bit on your movements with Bubble while I am still recovering? It should take up a little bit of time while I prepare myself. Zestar is here keeping me in check in the meantime."

Elixabeth sighed in disbelief. There weren't any other choices for her. Time was running out, yet she could only rely on them for the mission.
