Life is not life-ing, new chapter back on track on Friday, 25/10/2024! I have been a little too focused with work lately to write, struggling with writer's block and experiencing health issues overworking 💀

It's been a while and Nuclear 531 has been smoothly going for almost 4 months now! A quick update on taking a break from writing as I want to focus on my work as an educator for the short time being and taking care of my mental health recently. I hope you all like Nuclear 531!! <333

Update 21 July 2024

Time flies, it has been a month since the last minor updates. I hope everyone is up and well. Let me show you some trivia about Nuclear 531.

Originally, I didn't intent to write a fully detailed novel about someone's adventure to look for a so called 'legend'. It was a bit too cliché-d. This is a project I have been working on since 21 July 2018, if not way earlier since it was first written by hand on paper. I was merely a high-school student at the time, and to be honest, I am not much of a reader to be skilled in writing, I just love to have a narrative and I tend to fantasize scenarios and character dynamics with my OCs.

I started writing when I was 12, had a friend that is fond of writing herself then I picked up writing as a hobby. Nuclear 531 is my 3rd fully organised and intended to create a detailed story for all to read. Sad to say that they don't really have much of the 'science' element to it, more of like a post-apocalyptic scenario where the hero is going to look for the cure, or at least survive the dreaded world they were in. I wasn't expecting  to have so many characters involved later in the plot and even their origin stories are in the works as a character encyclopaedia.

Those are more focused on their past lives and as stated, their origins, including the pandemic breakout in the story.

Today marks the 6th Anniversary of Nuclear 531 in the works! I am so glad that I have made this far despite all the hiatus, and distractions and life ahead of me. One day, maybe I could sell the works I have and there comes my side income as a freelance, procrastinating, half-assed writer.

Update 31 May 2024

Nuclear 531 is officially an ongoing work! This series will update every two weeks and will go on for about a year and a half. Check out our Instagram account for our latest updates and illustrations for the series!

Ps. I am currently outstation, sadly I would have to suspend the previously planned countdown illustrations :( But don't worry they will still be used for other times.

Update 21 Mar 2024

Author's Note: I have resurfaced from the dead, finished school and can finally work on writing as a part-time. There were hiccups along the way and I have a part-time job as well to sustain myself. Nuclear 531 is scheduled to be finished by the end of this year, 2024, hopefully. I have been committed to writing it since 2018 and didn't have the motivation to update here as a full story. The plot is finished and I have been pouring my heart into this work ever since high-school and now finally getting the love from me once again, to shine as a completed work XD

The first few chapters will be available on 31st May 2024, of course it's going to be 531 why not XD

Update 25 Apr 2020

The story is currently under rewriting and plotting, so I apologise for not being active and being a total push-over. Lots of procrastination and other silly excuses of not writing often. I haven't even finish the first draft and it has been 2 frikin years since I started the idea. During this quarantine, I will try my best and maybe post a chapter or two. I am so sorry for going missing again and again and I will try to be consistent with my works.
