After the mission, Chase and Wendy made their way back to the Davenport home. "Wendy, I've been thinking about something." Chase said as he intertwined his fingers with hers. Wendy looked over at him showing he had her full attention. "If I ever get tired of working with Davenport, I think I would join the plumber's. Max offered me a position as well and said it was still open in case I change my mind." Chase explained as he stopped to look at his girlfriend. "I knew he wanted to talk to you, but I didn't know what. I think you should do what's best." Wendy told him honestly and smiled at him. She knew Chase had been more interested in the plumber business as of late, but she wasn't sure how much he was interested in it.

Once back down in the lab, the couple glanced around at the mess before Donald got shocked by an invention. "Great! Everything in the lab is officially useless, and I don't have enough money to repair it." Donald said as he groaned while Wendy let go of Chase's hand and went to the spot where the three capsules once stood. "I know my mom didn't marry you for your money, but I haven't been putting with your antics for nothing." Leo retorted as he rolled his eyes before folding his arms. "Mr. Davenport, take your time with the lab. I don't mind staying up here. Of course, it won't make up for living in a basement for sixteen years, but it's a start." Bree said as she leaned against a wall.l "We don't have time. Your capsules have regenerative capabilities. They're crucial to your bionic infrastructures." Donald explained to the group who stood confused.
"Huh?" Adam asked as he wasn't quite following.
"Let me help you. Capsule good!" Chase retorted as his voice grew deeper.

"But I haven't been in my capsule all week, and I feel fine." Bree told Donald before raising an eyebrow. "Well, it's only a matter of time before your bionics go haywire." Donald said as he watched Wendy who was trying to use her mana to make everything fixed. Like Verdona did. "Do you know when exactly? Because I have a haircut on Tuesday and if I glitch in the chair, I'm just gonna end up like that trainwreck." Adam said as he gestured to his younger brother. "I get it! I'm short, I look like a lady golfer, and I have a terrible haircut! What else you got?" Chase stated annoyed, while he controlled his urge to let his mana flow. Similarly to Spike, his mana would only appear if he got truly angry. The bionic chip must of interfered with the DNA to make it work in that way. "How long do you have?" Adam asked as he looked at Donald. "Look, the longer you go without your capsules, the more likely you'll glitch, so don't use your bionics until I can get enough money to rebuild the lab." Donald explained as he folded his arms.

"Will you all just shut up for a moment?!?! I am trying to do something!" Wendy snapped at the group which caused them to all look at her. Wendy focused the best she could to try and restore the capsule in front of her. "Uh oh, I feel a glitch coming on!" Adam said as he punched Chase not really caring about what the redhead just said. For a split moment, just a moment, it started to work but it failed. "Ow! You know what? I feel one coming on too!" Chase said as he pushed Adam off the stool he was on. "Hey, it's not funny when you hurt me. It's just rude." Adam stated as he rolled his eyes.
