Wendy and Kai were sitting in the common room while waiting for the trio, and Leo came out of the hydraloop to help Leo. Kai was about to ask what happened, but Adam started to talk. "Easy, easy, easy," Adam said as he kept his focus. "You know, this would be a lot easier without you saying "easy" every two seconds," Chase stated as he got annoyed with his brother. "Sorry. Careful, careful, careful." Adam added again as he forgot what his brother said as he was focused on the girl next to Wendy. "Uh-oh. Did Leo blow chunks on the hydraloop again?" Kai asked as she folded her arms. "No. We were on a mission, and I hurt my ankle." Leo retorted, causing Wendy to roll her eyes. "And then he blew chunks on the hydraloop again," Bree added as"You know the drill, Bob," Adam told the student who entered the room—puke patrol. I'll grab the mop," Bob said as he went to get the mop. I've taught him well," Adam stated proudly, causing Kai to roll her eyes at his comment before grinning softly to herself. We were evacuating a steel mill when the roof collapsed," Chase told his girlfriend, who wondered what happened. "We were pinned down, and Leo had to jump over an industrial grinder to save us," Bree added to the conversation. "Come on, buddy. Let's get you to the infirmary and check that leg out." Wendy told Leo, who was not amused. "Would you quit fussing? I'm a grown man. I don't need you to baby me." Leo told his friends before Tasha walked into the common area. "MOMMY!" Leo shouted and hugged his mother. Wendy and Kai rolled their eyes at the boy.
"Oh, I came as soon as you texted me," Tasha told her son as the others gathered around them. "I'm not going to lie. This is a grade-A boo-boo." Leo admitted to his mother, who looked at him. "We better get you to your room. Where is your room?" Tasha asked the group of teenagers. "Oh, the other side of the island," Wendy told the woman who shook her head. "Still can't believe you guys got your island. I only got a lousy t-shirt for Valentine's Day that said, "I married Donald." Tasha told the teenagers. "Wait, you guys are married? I just thought you came over a lot." Adam said, making Wendy snicker.
Leo was sitting on the couch in the mentor's quarters, his ankle propped on a pillow. "Thanks, mom. You always make the best smoothies. But something's missing." Leo told his mother sheepishly, but Tasha handed him a tiny umbrella. "Here you go," Tasha told her son as Kai entered the room. "Mama's boy," Kai said between coughs, which caused Leo to roll his eyes. "Perfect. The umbrella shouldn't affect the taste, but it just does." Leo told his mother after giving Kai a look. "I'm going to go check on the pool temperature. I warmed it up so you could soak your ankle." Tasha told him as she walked outside. Adam, Bree, Chase, and Wendy entered the room as Leo snuggled into his chair.
"Kind of milking it, aren't you?" Wendy asked her friend as she plopped down on the chair. At that moment, Ben, Gwen, and Kevin entered the room. Bree went over to hug her boyfriend, who hugged and kissed her back. Chase and Adam faked gagged, which caused the couple to roll their eyes. "Oh, no, yet. The milk comes with the cookies at 3:00," Leo told his friend, who shook her head. "I'm just glad you're doing better, Leo," Bree said as Ben wrapped his arms around her stomach. "Yeah. You're lucky you didn't get hurt worse. You were this close to being chewed up by that industrial grinder." Adam chimes in, causing Wendy's eyes to widen. "Pardon? What industrial grinder?" Wendy asked as Chase nodded before plopping beside his girlfriend and wrapping his arm around her.
