Chompu and Engfa decided to collaborate on a special dessert for the upcoming food festival called the Bangkok Culinary Delights Festival where it celebrates diverse culinary creations annually. Engfa was the one who suggested to Chompu to join the festival as it is a good opportunity to promote Sky Café. Chompu also thought it would be good to collaborate with Engfa because of her honest reviews.

The decision to collaborate brought both closer than ever. They spent countless hours together in the kitchen, experimenting with different flavours, textures and presentation ideas.

"This could be our signature recipe," Chompu remarked one evening as she carefully piped a delicate swirl of frosting onto a trial batch of cupcakes.

Engfa nodded thoughtfully while observing the meticulous process. "Hmm, I think it needs more acidity to balance the sweetness. How about a hint of citrus?"

Chompu's eyes lighted up and considered her suggestion happily, "That could work! Let's try adding some lemon zest."

As they went deeper into their collaboration, mutual respect began to grow. Chompu admired Engfa's attention to detail and her ability to elevate flavours with slight adjustments. In turn, Engfa appreciated Chompu's creative talent and her willingness to push culinary boundaries.

Nudee, Chompu's best friend often dropped by the café to offer moral support and occasional taste-testing. She observed the evolving dynamics between Chompu and Engfa with delight. Somehow, she knew in her heart that their partnership could yield something truly remarkable.

As the "Bangkok Culinary Delights Festival" approached, the pressure started to escalate. Late nights in the kitchen have become the norm as they try to perfect their dessert. There were moments of frustration and uncertainty, especially when a sudden disaster threatened to mess up their effort such as ingredients spilled, and ovens malfunctioned. However, Chompu and Engfa remained determined to succeed through it all.

On one particularly challenging day, just two weeks before the festival, an unexpected power outage hit the neighbourhood. Panic ensued in the kitchen as the lights flickered and the equipment sputtered to a halt.

"Engfa, what should we do now?" Chompu asked with concern as she checked the oven, hoping their cakes had not been ruined.

Engfa quickly took charge and start directing everyone with calm authority while Chompu tried to salvage what they could of their dessert preparations. "We need to stay focused. Let's see if we can find another alternative baking method."

During the chaos, Nudee stepped in to offer some practical solutions, "Maybe we can use the gas stove for some parts. And we still have some battery-powered mixers."

Together as a group, they brainstormed alternative baking methods and improvised with limited resources. It was a true test of their determination and ability to work under pressure.

Hours later, the power returned, and the kitchen buzzed with new energy. Chompu and Engfa looked at each other with a mixture of relief and pride.

"Hey, we did it," Chompu exclaimed, wiping flour from her eyebrow. "We are able to beat against all odds."

Engfa smiled warmly, sharing in the victory. "It wasn't easy, but we made it through. Our dessert is going to be awesome."

With the festival just two weeks away, they continued to refine their creation with each step bringing them closer together. As they put the finishing touches, Nudee stood by and was beaming with pride.

Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, Chompu and Engfa found a moment alone. Chompu placed her gentle hand on Engfa's arm, her voice was soft.

"I couldn't have done this without you," Chompu admitted, her eyes meeting Engfa's with warmth.

Engfa smiled, feeling a rush of affection. "And I couldn't have asked for a better partner."
