The Sudden Arrangement

Chapter 2: Fate? || ╰(*°▽°*)╯

Kazuha pov:

'I'm really tired today...There was more school works today too..' I thought 'I should have just rejected the invite to this party..' I sighed as I got ready for the party. I wore a suit, red and black themed, some rings and a maple charmed necklace.

3rd person pov:

"Kazuha!! Let's go!! We are going to be late!" Beidou calls as she gets the car keys "Going!!" Kazuha replied. Kazuha quickly ran out the house locking the door close behind him before getting inside the car to head to the venue. He hasn't attended an event this grand yet so he was quite nervous. After 30 minutes or so, they finally arrived at the venue. But Kazuha wanted to stay outside for a while to calm himself as he is more nervous.. Beidou agreed and went to the venue held in a hotel, meeting her wife inside the halls and soon disappeared from Kazuha's sight. He took a deep breath and sat at a nearby bench.

After a few minutes, He went inside the hotel, asking for help from some staff. Running off to the direction given, he suddenly bumped into someone. When he opened his eyes, he saw a guy with indigo hair and eyes

Kazuha pov:

'Woah..he is so....pretty..?' I thought before realizing I bumped into him, I thought maybe he was annoyed by me so I quickly apologized and ran to the venue door. Once I entered the venue I took a deep breath and I tried to find my mother in the crowd. I saw her talking to a woman with braided indigo hair before seeing my mother leave and walk towards me.

"Are you still nervous?" She asked, I shake my head and looked around the room. It was filled with quite influential people. "You can go and look around if you want, I'll be talking to some colleagues" She patted my head before leaving.

I walked around the room and took a seat in the bar area. "I'll have a glass," I said to the bartender. I didn't really feel like talking with people today so I just sat there as the bartender gave me my drink. I wanted to go home and sleep but the event just started. So I went to the restroom to wash my face, an attempt to stay awake. I arrived at the restroom and washed my face, as I looked in the mirror I noticed that my necklace was already gone...

I frantically searched my pockets but it was nowhere to be seen...Then I remembered bumping into the guy earlier, realizing it must have fallen in the hallway. I went there as soon as I could and tried to find it. But still, It isn't there.

"Hey." Someone said while tapping my shoulder. I was quite surprised and looked up. "Ah..Do you need something..?" I suddenly remembered he was the guy from earlier. "You're the guy from earlier!" I added

"Yeah.." the indigo boy said "Is this yours? You dropped it earlier." handing me a maple leaf charm necklace and left immediately. "Wait!" I said getting up and trying to stop him from leaving to thank him properly but he disappeared.. I stared back at the necklace, a bit happy that I got it back but a bit disappointed?

I became more tired as time passed and decided to go back home first. I called a cab and I soon arrived at my place. Heading straight to the bathroom, took a bath, changed clothes, and went to sleep.

It's now the weekend and I have a meetup with some friends. I look at the time "8:19 am... still got time until 9.." I got ready, ate breakfast and left the house. I went to our meeting spot, a cafe. I went inside to order while waiting. "6 macarons, and a latte" I took out my wallet to get some cash and gave it to the cashier, I noticed an indigo haired guy behind her making drinks. "Seems familiar.." I mumbled, shaking my head that maybe I'm imagining things.

I went to an empty chair and sat there for some time before I got my order. I took my food and saw the indigo haired guy turn around, now facing me. "He's the guy from the event, and he's working at the cafe!" I excitedly thought. He saw me look at him. I quickly walked away, flustered, going back to the table and waited for my friends but my thoughts filled with him..I did think he was pretty...But I never thought that I would be interested..

"Maybe.. it's fate..?" I mumbled, my cheeks turning a bit pink "ugh...I'm just delusional..." Trying to get rid of my thoughts about him but failed.
