The Sudden Arrangement

Chapter 3: Meeting Again..? || (┬┬﹏┬┬)

Scaramouche Pov:

After going back to the hotel room, my mom texted me saying 'You can head to the house first, the address is ----------, just tell the butler that me and Miko will be home late.' I was quite surprised, because why did we even book at the hotel when we got a house in this city?! I sighed frustratedly. 'I'll just take an uber to go there ig..' I thought to myself, getting up from my bed and fixing all of my things and waiting for the uber outside the hotel.

It was a 25 minute drive from the hotel, i got out the car and got my luggage entering the house, The guard noticed me and let me inside, It's a pretty large house...larger than the house i grew up in...This is gonna be such a pain..

I walked through the path heading to the main entrance. The house is like a very traditional Japanese house.. and looks better than our house back in my city.. The butler greeted me and I told him my mother and her girlfriend would be home late. He showed me my room which is quite decent. I put my things aside and remembered I applied for a job online in the city. I checked my emails and found out I actually got accepted, "well that's a first" i mumbled. The email also says that I'll start on Saturday 2nd week of July, which is tomorrow, "welp that sucks.."

I then showered, changed my clothes, and went to sleep.

It's finally the weekend, but I still have my part time job. So I ready and headed straight to the cafe I will work at. I arrived early so they trained me for a few minutes before actually opening the cafe. The job is quite easy and I got assigned to make the drinks.

The cafe is pretty average and the job seems easy enough. Seems like I'll make it through the day without any problems except for remembering what ingredients are in each drink, such a pain..

"Here" my coworker said, handing me another order, it seems like the order is a latte. I finished all of the orders, putting the latte with a plate with macaroons on a tray and handing it over to my coworker, before turning back I saw that platinum haired guy from the event.. Seems like he's in a rush walking so fast like that.. I sighed before going back to work..

Time passed and it's already lunch break, i go to the staff room and asked if i could go out to eat, they said i could and just return before 1pm so I went outside and glanced at the cafe seeing the platinum guy. "Is he waiting for someone?" I asked myself 'it has already been a few hours since he entered the cafe, "It's not like it is my business.." I mumbled walking away and buying some food from 7-11 and eating it there.

I got back to the cafe before 1pm. They told me to clean the tables as my next task, As I was cleaning I saw the platinum guy now had company, probably his friends. And why am I feeling this way..? Whatever..

After cleaning the tables I got back to making drinks again. There were fewer people in the afternoon so we didn't have much to do. I was just at the cashier sitting down waiting for another customer

"Hello, could I get a macchiato? A venti and some chocolate cake" a customer said, i got up and put their order in the machine "Your total is $--, how would you like to pay?" i looked up and looked at them before seeing the platinum boy in front of me. "Oh. its you" I said, "yea, haha...seems like we meet again" he replied, "hm.. so? How would you like to pay?" I replied, wanting to finish the conversation but also to not. "I'll pay cash, here" the platinum boy replied. "Name for the order?" taking out a marker and writing it on the cup, "Kazuha" he replied.

"huh.. ok. we'll call you if the order is ready." putting the cup aside, 'so that's his name huh..?' i thought before shaking my head, before my colleague took over the cashier and I got back to making drinks.

"An order for Kazuha!" I shouted, waiting for him and seeing him get closer. "Thanks," Kazuha replied.

After our interaction my day went on with me just making drinks and cleaning tables. Soon after I got home, I was greeted by my mother. It seems like she arrived earlier today.

"Where were you?" she asked, "The cafe where i work" I bluntly replied. "My my.. our dear Kuni finally got a job?" Pinky replied. "I'll be in my room"

I got to my room, ate some food I bought earlier and got ready for bed. I checked my calendar and saw that my school is in a month and my shifts in the cafe are only on the weekends.. I sighed and went to bed.

A few weeks have passed, and I haven't seen 'Kazuha' in the cafe. I wonder what happened? Ah whatever, It's not like I care about him anyways.. i think..?

Hello everyone!! sorry I haven't posted anything (┬┬﹏┬┬). My phone broke and I didn't have any other electronics and had to get my phone fixed for a few weeks and I finally got it back!(*^▽^*) I hope that I could post chapter 4 at least this week but I am not sure because my classes are starting and I had to get a few things ready, It would probably take me a long time before I post again.
