<Beth's POV>

Wednesday morning (Beth's first day of school)

Yesterday, I had spent a while on YouTube trying to find a cute outfit idea for my first day of school. After doing mass amounts of video watching, I thought I had found the perfect outfit. But when I put it on today, I wondered why it didn't look as cute on as it did yesterday.

"Mom!" I call, a bit frustrated. Maybe she could give me a bit of fashion advice.

"Yes dear?" My mom says as she appears around the corner.

"Can you please help me find an outfit?" I ask.

She quickly glances at what I'm currently wearing, which is a simple black skater dress with a pale pink flower crown. "What's wrong with what you're wearing right now? It looks cute!" My mom says.

"Aw thank you mom, you're so sweet."

"Anytime, Beth. I made you an omelet for breakfast, so hurry up and eat it before it gets cold!" Mom says, clearly proud of herself for cooking an omelet.

"I'll be right down to eat that!" I say. I take one last look at myself in the mirror before heading downstairs to eat.

Just about an hour later, I had curled hair, and gorgeous makeup. I had just picked out a pair of black combat boots when I heard a knock at my door.

"I'll get it mom!" I call.

"Okay, just hurry up so you're not late for school!" My mom yells back.

I open the door to see Raven, who looks a bit upset.

"Beth I need to talk to you." She says before I can even say anything.

"Okay, what's wrong?" I say.

"Today at school. You cannot talk to me, you can't sit by me at lunch, you can't even say that you even know me." She rushes.

I have to say, I was a touch offended. Was I embarrassing to be around?

"Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was embarrassing." I say, trying to not to let the sadness squeeze out of my voice.

It took her a minute to register what I said, then shock filled her features. "Oh my god, no Beth, it's not like that!" Raven replies. "It's just, you're so beautiful, and funny, and nice. You'll fit in perfectly with the populars. But Matt, Cameron and I agreed that we can't socialize at school."

"Why?" I say.

"Well, I'm not what people would typically call popular. I'm sure you can understand why, with my dark look and all. I don't care, but I don't want you to loose you're amazing first impression because you wanted to hang out with me." She finishes.

"Are you sure Raven?" I ask, feeling a bit guilty.

"Absolutely positive!" She says, giving me a quick smile.

"Alright-" I start, but I'm cut off.

"I called Matt to pick you up, and he'll be here about-" she pauses to look at her watch, "in five minutes, so get you're stuff together!" She says.

"Well okay-"

"Bye Beth! Talk to you after school!" She calls and runs out the door.

Dazed and confused, I grab my backpack and wait for Matt.

"Follow me, and I'll bring you to the main office." Matt says, leading me to a tiny little desk with a strict looking woman. "Hi Ms Quizle, this is Beth. She's new here." Matt says for me.

"Ah yes, I've been expecting her." She says in an annoying voice. "Matt, as it seems you two are already aquatinted, you two may share schedules. Please show her to locker number-" she looks down at her paper, "132."

I look up at Matt and smile. We have the same schedule!

"Locker 132 is right next to Rachel's locker." Matt says.

"Who's Rachel?" I ask.

Almost as if on cue, the clicking sound of high heels comes echoing down the hall, and a pretty brunette comes around the corner.

"Beth, I'd like you to meet Rachel!" Matt says smiling.

I smile at her a bit and wave. She gives me a huge grin flashing perfectly white teeth.

"Rachel this is Beth, she's new in my neighborhood, and she's joining our school today." He explained.

"Hey Bethany!" She says, smiling. "I have all the same classes as Matt, so maybe I'll see you in a few?"

"Oh, I have the same schedule as you!" I say happily. I didn't expect to gain friends this quickly.

"Amazing!" She announced. "Hopefully we can became great friends!"

"I would like that." I say smiling.

"Rachel, I was just about to show Beth to her locker, and I know you're an amazing decorator. Do you think you could help Beth add some personality to her locker? I know girls love that!" Matt says, laughing.

Wow Matt.

"I have waaaaay to many decorations in my locker, I'll defiantly share with you, girl!" Rachel laughs, and I follow her down the hall.

After Rachel had added an over amount of pink wall paper, Chrystal magnets, and even a mini pink chandelier, all three of us headed to our first hour.

It actually went great! Our history teacher is sweet, and welcoming.

Later, at lunch Matt introduced me to his friends. They are all so cool. Kian is absolutely hilarious, and I couldn't stop laughing. And then there's Tyler with his epic blue hair. All of them were so sweet!

Then I met Rachel's friends. Her two best friends names were Ingrid and Eva. They were both so kind, and welcoming.

(Sorry, but I had to add Ingrid Nelson and MyLifeAsEva because WHY NOT)

Eva was downright hilarious though, and she kept making me laugh with her cute and bubbly personality.

Then Rachel introduced me to Alisha (Macbby11 oops) who is her friend from algebra.

Alisha is extremely smart. She is absolutely adorable!

I'm so happy that I have the same schedule as Rachel so I can meet all her friends.

I was actually surprisingly disappointed when I heard the last bell ring signaling the end of school. I carried my books to my locker, and looked through my schedule trying to remember if I had any homework.

"Hey girly!" Someone said from behind me, startling me and causing me to drop all my books. I turn around to see Rachel covering her mouth with her hands trying not to laugh.

"Oh hey Rachel! Sorry, you startled me a bit!" I laugh.

"Oh I'm so sorry! Anyway, tonight me and my girls, Eva, Ingrid, and Alisha are all having a girls night! And well, we thought we could get to know you better if you came to?" She asks.

A girls night? The most popular girl in the school is asking me to a go to a girls night with her! No way!

"Oh my god, that would be amazing!" I announce, hoping my mom wouldn't mind.

"Awesome! Here's my number." She says handing me a sticky note with her number on it. "All you'll need to bring is you're phone!" She says.

"Okay then! I'll see you tonight!" I say happily.

I then pack up my bag, and as I walk out the front doors, a thought pops into my head.

I hadn't seen Raven all day. But why?
