Lisa took off on her best friend's bike while Jungkook got the desserts and drove his national MPV away from Beans and Cream. Jungkook drove all the way to the Jeon's estate.

Grandma Jeon was still up and watching TV in the living room.

With the desserts in hand, Jungkook took strides over and placed the food on the coffee table. Straightening his back, he callously said, "Nana, we agreed that you won't interfere with my married life."

"But I didn't."

The old lady played innocent.

Jungkook pointed at the desserts. "You made a specific instruction for me to get the desserts from Beans and Cream so I'd see Lisa having coffee with another man. Nana, I don't know what jealousy is nor will I ever experience it."

Turning on his heel, Jungkook walked out.

Grandma Jeon called him back, "It's late. Aren't you going to stay the night?"

"My wife left the door unlocked for me," Jungkook replied indifferently The old lady watched him walk away before muttering under her breath, "No idea what jealousy is? Not going to experience it? Well, I won't bet on it."

Lisa had no idea about the interaction between Jungkook and Grandma Jeon. It was a surprise running into Jungkook at Beans and Cream, but putting two and two together, Lisa figured out why Jungkook ended up there.

What was the reason behind Nana's actions?

Was it so Jungkook would get the wrong idea about her?

It was not as if Lisa was on a blind date. It was Rosé's date. Even if Jungkook saw her...

Harking back to the scene at the coffee house, Lisa noticed the tension in Jungkook's face more than ever. Although Lisa tended to be slow at picking up cues, she could tell that Jungkook took things the wrong way. Most importantly, Rosé was at the loo, leaving Lisa with Mr. Bill by herself.

It was a good thing Jasmine emerged from the loo right after. Her timely clarification loosened the tension on his clenched jaw.

Lisa was clueless as to why Nana would do such a thing. She might have saved Nana's life, but she expected nothing in return. It was Nana who remained forever grateful and tried to give Lisa the world. By right, Nana would not do anything to hurt her.

Bearing more questions than answers, Lisa returned home and sat on the balcony swing. Without turning on the lights, she quietly observed the night sky.

Jungkook only got home at midnight.

Lisa was asleep on the swing by the time he reached home. Oblivious to that, Jungkook assumed Lisa was in bed since her bedroom door was closed and the house was in darkness.

Taking a seat on the sofa, Jungkook turned on the TV. He rarely watched TV but could use some background noise. He adjusted the volume to the lowest.

He did not want to wake Lisa from her sleep.

Ring, ring, ring...

With his phone ringing, Jungkook looked at the incoming call. It was Bambam.

"Bambam."
