I Do Not Care

The moon is growling,

The sun is not shining,

The sea is not salty,

The land is cracking open,

Houses are shackling,

Cars are crashing,

Bridges are buckling,

Statues aren't standing.

Museums come to life,

Dinosaur bones dance around,

Sand becomes clay,

Clay becomes sand.

Trees grow scary eyes,

Branches grow far apart,

Water turns into soil,

Oil turns into blood.

The world could be ending,

The universe could come undone,

But I do not care.

I do not care, for you are not here,

"Where are you?" I keep asking,

I'd lose my limbs and will not care.

I want you,

I need you.

I don't like being away from you.

Let this tornado take me,

Bring me to you.

I will care,

I will cry,

I will pray,

As long as you are with me.

Be with me always.

I cannot live without you,

I cannot feel my heart without your heartbeat,

I cannot breathe without your breath.

Your lips on mine,

Our tongues clashing,

Our eyes open,

Our hands interlocked,

Our blood pumping,

Our hearts beating,

Our souls amalgamating,

Our spirits intertwining.

You stole me, I let you,

I loved you, you let me,

You miss me, I miss you too,

We are connected,

We are one.

I do not care if the world is ending,

I do not care if the universe is crumbling,

I do not care if angels are falling,

I simply do not care.

I want you.

You are my only concern,

And if you were to leave me,

I'd let you go,

Because I love you.

I love you so much.

I love you, I do,

I care.

For you, I do.

I love you.
