In serenity, I find turmoil,
In vibrancy, I find dullness,
In hope, I find desperation,
In clarity, I find desperation,
In tranquility, I find anxiety,
In radiance, I find gloom,
In freedom, I find confinement,
In exhilaration, I find boredom,
In softness, I find coarseness,
In precision, I find carelessness,
There's a problem with everything,
To not fully enjoy the moment.
Each emotion leads to the next.
Simultaneously causing distress,
Tremendously dulling my peace,
Continuously plaguing my state.
Just one moment that I seek,
Peace and absolute quiet.
A malfunction in the system,
A halt to my heart,
A stop in my tracks,
A blockage in the sewers.
To finally think for once.
Not twice, not thrice.
Only for here and not there.
I'd be at peace.
A true thinker.
