Chapter Eight

I wake up beside Zach. Happiness overwhelms me. I could get use to this. But then the reminder of having to go to school brings me back down to earth. 

"Morning darling, are you okay?" Zach says cuddling up to me 

"I don't know if I'm ready to face today" I say 

"I'll be right there with you okay. I'm going to get ready then we'll go to yours so you can get changed" Zach says getting up giving me a quick kiss. 

He goes into his wardrobe, picking out black jeans and a white top. He slowly strips off in front of me watching back at me to see if I'm watching. Damn this man is really beautiful, he's doing this on purpose. He looks over at me and catches me drooling. He walks over to me still in bed. 

"Like what you see darling" He whispers seductively 

"Mhmm" I muttered 

He sits beside me and reaches out for me kissing me passionately. I could definitely get used to this. Wanting more I sit on top of him straddling him. I start kissing him harder and slowly bring my lips down his neck. Biting softly, leaving a small mark. He tilts his head and moans quietly. I've never heard a sound so beautiful before. 

I push my hips down until I feel him against me. Rocking my hips up and down I moan his name wanting more of this feeling. I would happily miss school for more of this. 

"Fuck Steph" He grunts 

I plant a last kiss on his lips and get up from him. He lets out a deep breathe. 

"That's what you get for teasing me " I wink at him, loving this new found confidence that I have when I'm with him.

He shakes his head, " My survival rate is low with you, let's go before I decide to take you here right now" 

I gulp and run out of his grasp, racing to his car giggling. 

We arrive at my house and I quickly throw on my leggings and a dress jumper. I run back to the car and climb in looking at him. 

"Oh shit Zach" I say covering my mouth 

"What is it, are you okay?" he asks 

I point to the mark I left and showed him on his car mirror. He smirks. 

"Good I'm glad that everyone will know that I'm yours" he winks over at me and starts driving 

This man, will be the death of me. I try to settle myself back down, which starts to get difficult as the school gates slowly approach. Now I wish my heart was beating fast because of Zach. But now it's because of what is going to happen in school.  

Zach gets out of the car and opens my car door for me, holding my hand we walk towards the school. All eyes are on us. Whispers start, at this point it's not even whispers because I can hear them very clearly 

What is she doing with him 

First Peter now Zach, lock up your boyfriends

She's such a whore 

Slut 

I move closer to Zach, needing to feel safe. 

"I got you darling" He whispers into my ear 

Zach walks me to my locker, When I get to it. Screen shots from the videos and massive lipstick writing with the word slut is all over it. I look around and everyone is laughing and taking pictures. Zach starts ripping them off in anger. 

"What the hell is wrong with you all" He yells. 

This catches everyone off guard and people start whispering again, going back to their business 

I walk off crying until I feel a hand grab me and take me into an empty class. I look up and it's Zach. 

"When i said we're doing this together, I meant it" He says pulling me into his arms 

"I can't do this Zach I want to go home" I cry 

"No, you're stronger than this darling. I'm not allowing them to stop you from enjoying your last few weeks of school" he kisses the top of my head 

"Okay, thank you" 

"Stop thanking me, I want to do this for you. Just ignore them, hold your head up high. We'll go to history then it means we can start our presentation okay" Zach says holding my hand. 

We walk out of the classroom and walk to history. I do what Zach says and held my head up high. Before we get to we bump into Allie. 

"Girl, I'm so sorry. This must be so hard for you" Allie says 

I give her a hug, not even having the energy to speak. Allie overhears a girl talking about me. 

"Shut the fuck up bitch, you do not want to get on the wrong side of me" Allie shouts 

The girl runs away with her tail between her legs, which causes me to laugh. Zach kisses the top of my head. Allie catches this and smirks. 

"Don't get cocky boy. Same goes to you, you hurt her you're dead" Allie says staring him down.

"I would never do a thing" Zach replies, scared of Allie

Me and Allie laugh, "Thank you Allie, we need to get to history so I'll speak to you later" I gave her one last hug feeling slightly better than I did before. 

We walk in different directions and Zach grabs my hand walking into history. Miss sees this and smiles at me. Probably thinking how cliche this is. I laugh to myself and sit down beside him. We start brainstorming ideas on what we could do for our project, but anything we come up with we don't agree with. 

"Ugh what are we going to do Zach, we can't come up with anything" I say slumping in my seat 

"I don't know darling" He says looking at me 

I think for a second of things I'm passionate about that co align with history. Then it hits me. 

"What if we do it on women" I say excited 

"What like women's rights and stuff" He replies 

"Yeah, we could look at case studies of women's stories and align it with what happens today. " I say 

"Okay yeah, we could do that. My mum works at the town hall so we could see if she can find anything in old newspapers" He replies 

"Oh my gosh, that would be amazing" I say getting excited 

We start working on the project, looking up stories on Women and what they've been through and how history has helped support women throughout the years, and how history has tried to stop women. 

Throughout the day, the history project was the only thing that got me through the day. I'm excited to see what we will come up with.
