Shriyansh woke up to the familiar routine of his alarm clock and the gentle morning light filtering through his curtains. After a quick shower and dressing in his favorite white shirt and dark trousers, he made his way downstairs to the dining table where his mother was bustling around, preparing breakfast.
"Good morning, Ma," Shriyansh greeted cheerfully, taking his seat at the table.
"Good morning, beta," his mother replied warmly, placing a plate of hot parathas in front of him."Shriyan, tumhari shirt par yeh bada daag kaise laga? Yeh toh coffee ya chai ka lag raha hai."
(English Translation - "Shriyan, how did your shirt get this big stain, that too it seems of coffee or tea?")
Shivanya, pouring herself a glass of juice, exclaimed dramatically, "Oh my god, bhaiya! That's a massive stain! How did it happen?"
Shriyansh sighed, knowing he couldn't avoid the inevitable interrogation. "Well, Ma, it's a long story. Actually, a student of mine..."
Before he could continue, his chachi interrupted with a mischievous glint in her eye, "A student, huh?Ladki ya ladka?
(English Translation- " Girl or boy?")
Shriyansh rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Ladki."
(English Translation -"Girl.")
His mother leaned forward, curiosity piqued. "Tell us everything, Shriyan. What happened?"
Shriyansh hesitated, trying to downplay the incident. "Chhodo, woh toh gone case hai."
(English Translation - Leave it. She is mad)
Shivanya leaned in, her interest fully piqued. "Lekin hum phir bhi jaan-na chahte hain,"
(English Translation - But we still want to know)
Shriyansh chuckled, knowing he was about to entertain the entire table with the tale. "Thik hai,Thik hai. Ek ladki hai, Dhrisha..."
(English Translation-"Okay, okay. So there's this girl in my class, Dhrisha...")
He proceeded to recount the events of yesterday, from Dhrisha's accidental spill of coffee on his shirt to the family's amusement. As he spoke, the family listened intently, occasionally reacting with gasps or laughter.
His father, who had been quietly observing the banter, finally spoke up with a smile, "Shriyan, you seem to have quite the adventure with this Dhrisha."
Shriyansh nodded, a smirk playing on his lips. "You have no idea, Dad."
"Bhaiya," Shivanya suddenly said, grinning mischievously , "Bhai do you remember that there was a boy who brought his dog to your class? Is Dhrisha worse than that?"
Shriyansh laughed and said "Well, Dhrisha hasn't brought a dog to class yet, but who knows? With her, anything's possible."
His chachi chuckled, adding, "Maybe she'll surprise you one day by bringing a whole zoo!"
As breakfast continued, the family enjoyed their meal together, with Shivanya teasing Shriyansh about his 'coffee-stained heroics', his chachi suggesting playful solutions for dealing with troublesome students.
