The final lecture of the day concluded, Professor Shriyansh's voice cut through the shuffling of students gathering their belongings.

"Students, listen up," he announced, his tone authoritative. "Our village trip is in two days. Today is the last day to submit the trip money. I'll be handing over the funds to the authorities after college hours today."

He then turned his attention to Dhrisha. "Ms. Verma, after you've finished collecting the money, come to my cabin."

"Sure, sir," Dhrisha replied, trying to keep her voice steady.

As her classmates filed out, Dhrisha approached the stragglers who had waited until the last minute to pay. She carefully counted each contribution, making note of the names in her ledger.

With the final collection complete, Dhrisha made her way to Professor Shriyansh's cabin. She knocked on the door, her heart beating a little faster than usual.

"Come in," Shriyansh's voice called from inside.

Dhrisha entered, clutching the envelope of money and her notebook. "Good afternoon, sir," she said, standing before his desk.

Shriyansh looked up from his papers, his expression softening slightly as he saw Dhrisha. " Ms. Verma. Do you have the final collection?"

"Yes, sir," Dhrisha replied, placing the envelope on his desk. "I've collected from everyone who's going on the trip. The total amount is ₹15,000 for 30 students."

Shriyansh raised an eyebrow, a hint of approval in his eyes. "Impressive, Ms. Verma. You've managed to collect from everyone on time. That's no small feat."

He picked up the envelope, weighing it in his hand before opening it to count the money. After a moment, he looked up at Dhrisha with a nod of satisfaction. "The amount is correct. Excellent work."

Dhrisha felt a surge of pride at the unexpected praise. "Thank you, sir. I wanted to make sure everything was in order."

Shriyansh leaned back in his chair, studying Dhrisha with a newfound respect. "I must say, Ms. Verma, I'm pleasantly surprised by your efficiency and thoroughness. You've shown real responsibility in handling this task."

Dhrisha allowed herself a small smile. "I'm glad I could help, sir. Is there anything else you need from me regarding the trip preparations?"

Shriyansh shook his head. "No, you've done more than enough. Your attention to detail and your ability to manage this task effectively... well, it's commendable. Perhaps I underestimated you, Ms. Verma."

He paused, then added, "Keep up this level of dedication and responsibility. It will serve you well, not just in college, but in your future career as well."
