Chapter 21 The Honeymoon

Uncle and Heejin settled into their stateroom. The back wall was made of stain glass.It depicted a love story between angels and man. When the light of the sun hit it, it bathed the room in warm reds and blues. A gaint tester bed made out of black cherry wood sat against the opposite wall, so that it's ocuppance can gaze at the scene while laying in it.Four angels stood as the post of the bed,their wings spread to hold the tester and foundation firm in its place. Warm cotton sheets and blankets adorned the feather matress, which sat six steps high. Brass light fixtures hung on the walls, while a crystal chandelier gently swayed above the round the oak table. Two high back chairs with red cushions were on each side of the table. A privacy screens stood at the other end of the room, with a gaint ship of the line painted across its front. A private head sat off to the right side of the room, while two leather chairs sat between a window looking out over the port side of the ship. Cherubs were carved into every inch of the ceiling, with stars painted in between them. The room was trimmed in red and gold, giving it a regal look. On the bed lay a set of night clothes for each of them.Heejin headed to the bathroom, while Uncle used the privacy screen to get ready for the night. Uncle struggled to get into his clothes,even fallen twice as he tried to pick his leg up, not being used to the roll of the ship. Two champagne flutes sat on round table waiting to be drank. Uncle stood at the edge of bed,trying to fix his blue satin pajamas and matching robe. The door to the bathroom opened, and there stood Heejin in a rose colored back lit glow. Uncle stood frozen,not a word could leave his lips. Eyes wide, as he took in the most beautiful site his eyes had ever seen. Standing there in a white lacy night gown, with a simple lace robe around her shoulders, Heejin stepped into the room.Her dark hair flowed around her face, resting just below her breast. She walked over to Uncle, who was still fumbling with his clothes. Wow! Heejin said as she looked Uncle up and down. So? She said to Uncle, "What do you think?" As she fluffed up her night gown. At first, all that came out of Uncles mouth was gibberish, but he finally squeaked out, "NICE! Heejin burst into laughter as she curtsyed and said, "Why thank you, my Lord, as she extended her hand for a kiss. His face turned red as he kissed her waiting hand. Shall we, Uncle said, as he handed her a flute of champagne. To us, she said. And they both drank. Uncle took Heejins robe off and laid it on the bottom of the bed.He then helped her up into the massive bed and ran around to his side,almost falling around the back corner. Gently, they kissed and gazed into each other's eyes until Heejin slowly reached over and shut off the lights. I love you, "Heejin said, I love you too, Uncle said back to Heejin. And that is where we will leave our newlyweds. The wedding night is a beautiful thing between a couple that shall never be discussed in public circles.
