Derry?

During the night Lili didn't sleep all that much. It got to about 5am before she actually fell asleep and even then she still felt half conscious. In her sleep she found herself tossing and turning, seemingly forgetting about Eyeball right next to her sleeping. He stayed up a while waiting for Lili to fall asleep but eventually he fell asleep; lay on his back with one hand resting under his head the other down by his side. Throughout the night it seemed Lili wanted something to hold so subconsciously she turned and her arms wrapped around Eyeball's.

She snuggled into Eyeball and her hand slipped into his. Lili was dreaming at that point, she thought she was in bed with Ace in her dream. His warm body heat keeping her comfortable, she expected the light from the morning sky to peep through his blinds soon but no sun woke her. Suddenly she wasn't next to Ace, suddenly she was surrounded by darkness. She felt cold as ice. Everything around her was pitch black and she could make nothing out.

Eyeball felt his hand getting squeezed and woke up. He felt Lili squeezing it so he tried waking her up to see what was happening. Her eyelids moved as her eyes darted around her sockets. Eyeball was worried for her now, he gently shook her awake and suddenly her grip on his hand loosened. Her eyes opened slowly adjusting to the sunlight and she sat up to become level with Eyeball.

"The hell was happening there?" Eyeball asks (in a kind way if you can believe it).

"Nothing, I'll be just fine." She nervously smiles and then gets up to start getting dressed.

"Hey, if you don't mind could you take me to Ace today?" Lili grabs some clothes from her closet. She wanders around the room looking for her denim jacket, "I want to talk to him about something"

"Yeah, course. I'll just go down stairs while you get dressed" He hops out of the bed, grabs his shoes and makes his way downstairs yapping to himself about how much he can't wait for a shower when he gets home.

Lili was ready pretty quick, it was 9am so the two only had 5 hours sleep- still, they both knew nobody in the Cobras household would be awake even by the time they get there. As soon as Lili grabbed a bottle of water they set off in Eyeball's car.

Eyeball turned the radio on and Can't Take My Eyes Off You was mid way through playing. The sun was hiding in the clouds today and the air was humid, there was no way it wouldn't rain is what Lili was thinking as they drove back into the city towards Ace's. Eyeball sang along to the song- despite the town's belief of the cobras only liking "rock" and such- Eyeball did really enjoy the radio hits too.

"You think he's still mad?"

"You know him, he probably sorted it out with a pack of cold ones. I think you were both just in different places yesterday, probably just needed a few hours apart to get your heads together you know!" He turns a sharp corner.

"I still feel bad, it was my fault really- he was just trying to help me.." she plays with her nails again looking down at them.

"Hey!" He looks to her, "None of that jazz! You ain't in the best position right now and you weren't thinking straight!"

Soon enough they pulled up outside the house and Lili got out quick to go to see Ace. To her surprise the door was unlocked and she saw Billy sleeping with his body spread across the sofa, Janie was making herself some breakfast and looked tired. She'd probably want to know what happened last night given the other cobras probably told her about how Eyeball had taken me home. Since Eyeball didn't come home she could see how that might look and be a problem. Instead of facing Janie straight away, Lili made her way to Ace's room.

The door creaked open ever so slightly as to not wake him up, she peeped through the gap that was open. Of course he was still asleep. She smiled as he didn't sleep on her side (which really was his in the first place) even though she wasn't there.

Ace lifted the blanket further up his stomach as he slept, Lili walked into his room picking up clothes quietly and tidying them up. She was putting shirts in drawers as she felt his figure on her back. Ace had snuck from his bed to behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders and nuzzling his face into her neck giving her kisses.

"I'm sorry Ace," she finds herself apologising and holding his hand that made its way down one of her arms.

"No Lil it's okay." He mutters through kisses, she leans into his bare chest and he lifts his head and kisses her head, "you understand we can talk to each other? I promise if I was feel down or anything i'll tell you.."

She closes her eyes and nods.

"Hey why don't we take that break we were talking about. What town did you say?" Lili asks as she turns herself around wrapping her hands around his bare waist.

"You mean you wanna go to Derry?"
