Chapter 10. Back Home

     "Sulphyr! Take it easy! Here, I'll help!" Cere tells them, she takes the box they were holding and took it to its destination. "I can still do stuff! Just because I have a prosthetic doesn't mean I'm completely useless!" They cry out. "Cere, let them help. Mothers coming by later." Juno tells the two. "Emille?" Cere asks. "No, Luna." He responds. "We have two moms?" Sulphyr asks. "Well, Emille drank a potion and now she's a lady, but we don't even know where they are." Cere explains. "Ah, I can't remember them anyway..." Sulphyr mumbles. "I belive it's Luna, she'll be here at 12." Juno tells the two.

     The three finish cleaning and prepared for "Her" visit. "Sulphyr, you can't remember our parents right?" Juno asks. "Mhm." Sulphyr responds. "Well I think you'll like Luna a lot!" Cere exclaims. "I hope so." They mumble

     A crow lands near them, and quickly manifests into a human. "Hello children." The lady says, looking the three down. "Sulphyr?" She asks. "Mother." They respond, Luna appears in front of them, and picks them up by their cheeks. "See Sulphyr?" Cere tells them. "I haven't seen you in so long!" Luna exclaims. "Mother. How's Emille?" Juno asks her. "I haven't seen her in 25 years." She responds. "What?! You look so young!" Sulphyr says dumbfounded. "Kiddo, we have longer lifespans than normal people." She responds.

     "Luna, what's up with Lucille!" Cere asks, intrigued. "All her allies have been weakened gravely, 2 gods have awakened. I believe you three should take care of it." She tells them. "Where are their locations?" Sulphyr asks. "Ones in the outskirts of the Damiani mountain range, the crystal mine that was shut of hundreds years ago." Luna explains. "And the second is a reincarnated one. Ciel, they specialize in void magic. They've lived in purgatory for hundreds of years, since the start of the gods second generation." Luna explains. "As for Adoni... He's past the Damiani mountain range, the mountain range cuts off a continent, that land was used in the first god war. He's gone to retrieve godly weapons from the battle fields." She explains. "Cere, you'll be staying behind for this one. Gods are forces not to be reckoned with." Luna tells her. "Fine... but what about Sulphyr?" She asks her. "Hm... they'll be fine." Luna responds, she hands Juno a map. "Recruit as many as you please." She tells them.

     The two set off to the nation of thunder. "You met your mother?!" Esper asks excited, wanting to hear all the details. "We need as many people we could get, mine and Junos Mother wants us to find two awakened gods." Sulphyr explains. "Another adventure this early? Jeez... I think I'd have to sit this one out." Esper responds. "Who said we were going to sit out?" Nulial asks, Kio followed behind him. "Someone's looking for you two, Esper and Sulphyr. She goes by the name of 'Yuyuzura Amin." Kio explains. "YUYU!?" Esper asks, shocked. "She's here?!" Sulphyr asks. "You two know her?" He asks. "She's our childhood friend, before we met Alex and moved to the nation of thunder!" Sulphyr responds. "Ah, she's at the knights headquarters." Nulial tells them.

     Sulphyr and the group enter the knights headquarters. "SULPHYR! ESPER!" A lady yells out, she runs up to them and hugs them. "I can't believe you're here!" Esper tells her. "I've missed you so much! My love fpr you never died out! And you still have my ring!" She responds. "Esper? You're engaged?" Kio asks him. "I guess, I promised to marry her when we grew up." He explains. "Yup! Espers mine and mine only!" She exclaims. "That's great, but we're on a mission as of right now." Nulial tells her. "I'll join!" She responds.

     The road to the Damiani range was rough. In the middle of the expedition to the other side they pass by a small town. "Wow, is that a statue of Damiani?" Nulial asks. "Yeah." Sulphyr responds. "The new Legendary hero!" The towns-people chant as Sulphyr and their group walk through the town. "Excuse me, where can we find Adoni?" Esper asks one of the people. "Ah! He did mention about wanting to meet all of you. Very well! There should be a secret path in the main building." The person explains. "Great." Esper replies.

     The group enter the main building and get escorted to the forgotten continent. "Ah, Sulphyr Cora." Adoni tells them when they reach the other side. "I've been waiting for you." He tells them. "Adoni, what's your plan with Lucille?" Sulphyr asks. "I plan on killing her, and retrieving my son from the mountain." He explains. "Long ago, thousands of years ago my son Damiani sealed himself inside this mountain to seal Lucilles magic, keeping her from meeting the requirements for a fragment." He explains. "Baphonei already told me he agrees and would like to get rid of Lucille, I recommend you all get to Celine as fast as you can." He tells them. "We'll be sure to keep in contact." Esper tells him. "I'm sure." He responds.

     The group enter the abandoned mines, in the middle of a giant quarry sat a lady, playing a flute, she stops playing. "I see you're all here." She tells them. "I'll only join your side if you beat me in a fight. Only one of you though." She explains. "I'll go up." Yuyuzura tells them. "Are you sure?" Esper asks her. "Mhm." She responds. "Eager much? Hm." Celine mumbles before creating a spear made of crystal. "This will be over fast." Yuyuzura mumbles, grinning ear to ear as her ring glows pink, she gets covered in her magic.

     "Here's a lesson, my love is undying!" Yuyuzura yells as she appears behind Celine, with a punch it creates a large echo in the mines. "Fluttering love." Yuyuzura mumbles, suddenly spikes appears from the ground made of her magic and impale the goddess. "Wow. You're good." She tells her, getting rid of the spikes. "Yuyuzura right?" She asks. "Mhm." Yuyuzura responds, tilting her head as the others watched in awe. "Come by more often, I want to see your full power." She tells her. The group leave the mine successful. They go back to the nation of storms for a new plan

     "I think we should retrieve Damiani, get stronger, and then we storm Lucille head on." A man tells the group. Sulphyr is now in the meeting hall of all captains. "Shisui sir, we are in no condition to fight her, captain Rhebbi is in a coma, all of us have been badly damaged in the war-" Mej tells him. "Does it look like he cares? We still have to fight." Elio tells her. "Calm down, Mej is right. We aren't in the most stable condition." Sulphyr speaks out. "Head captain re you serious!? We can't stand idle as they take over more and more land!" Shisui yells out. "I understand where you're coming from, but if we continue picking fights our nation will come to dust." Sulphyr explains. "When would we stop fighting if we engage in every battle that occurs?" They ask. "Hm... They speak a fair argument Shisui." Elio tells Shisui. "Alright, I'll back off." Shisui tells the group with a sigh. "Meeting is dismissed." Sulphyr says outloud, with that the four captains leave the meeting hall.
