Chapter 3. Ode of light, to the land of Embers

"Wake up!" Esper yells shaking Sulphyr and Zian. "Huh..? The fucks happening?" Sulphyr asks. "We're under attack! The entirety of the Ember nation's army is here!" Esper yells. "Are you kidding me?!" Sulphyr yells running out grabbing their amulet. "They're gonna try it aren't they?" Zian asks wiping their eyes. "Yup." Esper replies. "HEY FUCK FACES!" Sulphyr yells holding their sword with their amulet on. "Citizen! Stand back!" One of the injured gaurds yell to them. "Don't worry, I'll help." Sulphyr replies but they get stabbed in the arm. "Bitch." Sulphyr tells the person who stabs him as they activate their amulet, however before they can actually activate it Siina uses ice magic to stop them. "There she is!" Someone yells out running towards her, they jump high to the rooftop Siina was on and punches her.

"Who are you?!" Sulphyr yells. "The names Admani kid, in case you don't know..." Admani replies jumping off the roof. "I'm the lord of Embers, now what's your name kid?" Admani asks. "Sulphyr, why are you here!" Sulphyr asks, Admani grins as he hears the name Sulphyr. "So your the kid Lucilles talking about, wow. I thought you'd be stronger." He tells them. "Who are you calling weak?!" Sulphyr yells activating their amulet. "You can't kill me kid." He replies grabbing Echo by the face and drags him across the floor. "You fucking fool!" He yells punching Echo into the floor multiple times. "Back off!" Siina yells standing up, she creates a wall of ice magic. "Hah! You think you can keep them safe? You fool!" He yells walking over to Siina summoning gauntlets. "Back off of her." Echo tells him stabbing their arm into his stomach.

"There it is!" Admani yells punching Echo knocking them unconscious. "Alright gaurds, we've got what we came for!" Admani yells, suddenly a giant machine comes down from the sky. "Load them onto the ship! I'll take care of her." Admani yells turning to Siina, two Sickles are thrown at him. "Where are they." Esper asks. "Oh you must be that kids friend, hey. Sorry for taking them but I'm just following orders." He tells Esper. "Start the engine!" Admani yells getting on the machine, the machine makes a loud screech and then flies off. "This isn't good." Siina tells Esper getting up with some strain. "What was that?!" Esper asks. "It's a part of the nation of Embers, its meant to he some sort of eagle." Siina replies. "And the guy?" Esper asks. "He's Admani, he's one of the 3 oldest God's." Siina explains. "Shouldn't we chase after it?" Zian asks walking out the slightly damaged inn.

"Unfortunately we can't, it's too fast for us to catch up." Siina replies. "Where is it heading?" Esper asks. "I wanna say the nation of Darkness, he mentioned Lucille." She explains. "I know how to get there fast." Esper replies taking out a bracelet. "If in correct it should summon a griffin." Esper explains. "What are we waiting for?" Zian asks. "I have to stay behind." Siina tells them. "Yeah that's understandable, however for you Zian. You have to go back to the nation of storms." Esper tells him. "Why?!" He replies. "Because your the prince! If anything happens to you..." Esper replies. "If your going alone your gonna want this." Siina tells Esper handing him an amulet. "It grants you ice magic for about 20 minutes, you're also gonna wanna take a detour to the nation of Light. Go to the altar of light and get the grimoire, after that you need to find Sulphyr and give them the grimoire." Siina explains.

"I'll send gaurds to help Zian go back to his home, good luck Esper." Siina tells him. "Bye Esper!" Zian yells waving. "I'll be back home with Sulphyr!" Esper replies flying off on the griffins back, Esper makes it to the nation of Light in a few hours dropping by near the temple he was told about. "Where could it be..." Esper asks himself walking through the forest, he finds it after a bit. "Where could the grimoire be..?" Esper asks, he sees some sort of pedestal. "It looks like it's missing something." Esper points out, a hiss could be heard throughout the forest. "Giant forests like this, they could be home to-" Esper tells himself before suddenly getting hit with a tail. "Son of a bitch!" Esper yells grabbing onto a branch.

"Maybe it's like a guardian." Esper tells himself, back on the machine.
"Where the fuck am I?" Sulphyr asks themself sitting up. "Your Sulphyr right?" Echo asks. "Wait a minute, You're... me?" Sulphyr replies. "I guess." It replies. "Where are we though?" Sulphyr asks. "We're in your mind." It replies. "How do I get out?" They ask. "You can't get out right now, cause that Admani jerk knocking us unconscious we are stuck here in your mind untill your amulet decides who's gonna be let out." Echo explains. "But either way I don't like you." Echo tells them. "Why?" Sulphyr asks it. "Before Lucille game my spirit to you in the form of the amulet I was free and I lived in a wonderful garden owned by... uh, shit I can't remember." Echo explains. "I'll help you find whoever they are, but. In return you gotta help me." Sulphyr replies. "So your making a deal?" Echo asks holding out its hand, a weird glow eminates from its hand. "Yes, it's a deal." Sulphyr replies shaking it'd hand, suddenly the area around them changes into the ship. "I can now exit the amulet but only you can see me!" Echo exclaims. "Look around! Maybe you can find an exit!" Sulphyr replies. "On it." Echo tells Sulphyr phasing through the walls.

"Will this thing leave me alone?!" Esper yells out, a basilisk coming out of the forest going to bite Espers arm. "Oh shit!" Esper barely dodges, he gets on it and stabs it's back. "Die!" He yells out, the basilisk crashes into a tree getting knocked out but suddenly it slowly turns into a human. "What the fuck?" Esper asks observing who it was. "I hope there's a town nearby." Esper tells himself pulling out his map. "Ah-ha! There is! Now I just gotta carry this person to the town, and I'll be back in the morning." Esper tells himself, he goes to the nearby town and goes to an inn to take care of the person that was a basilisk.

The next morning things were looking good for Esper but grim for Sulphyr. "Where is it?" Sulphyr asks themself. "I can't find an exit! I've looked all night too!" Echo yells out. "Then we'll have to make our own." Sulphyr replies, they summon the sword but then Admani walks in the cell and grabs Sulphyr by the neck. "Nice try." Admani tells them, he goes outside to where Lucille is. "Ah, you've actually brought them." Lucille tells Admani. "What can I say? I'm just great at hunting." He replies. "As for you..." Lucille tells Sulphyr summoning her spear. "You have unusual magic." She tells them. "So?" Sulphyr asks.

Back at the inn the person wakes up. "Where am I!? I'm... human again!" They begin to touch their face. "You're awake! I was wondering when you'd wake up." Esper tells them. "Ah! So you're the one who brought me, oh shit! Where are my manners! I'm Juno Cora! Nice to meet you!" Juno exclaims. "Cora..?" Esper asks shocked. "What? What's wrong?" He asks. "That's Sulphyrs last name..." Esper replies. "Oh my Lord! Sulphyr lived?! Where are they?! I haven't seen them since they were four!" He tells Esper. "He's been captured by Admani and is being taken to Lucille." Esper explains. "WHAT?!" Juno yells. The two rush out the door. "Why aren't we going to save them?!" Juno asks. "I need to get the grimoire." Esper replies. "Oh this? Yeah I had this." Juno tells Esper holding out the grimoire. "Then let's get a move on!" Esper tells him summoning a ride.

     "I can't wait to murder the last of your bloodline." Lucille tells Sulphyr holding the tip of the spear to Sulphyrs neck, but then a beam of sun magic shoots at the ship. "Back off my brother!" Juno yells out summoning a sword. "No way! You shouldn't be back in your human form!" Lucille yells out. "Esper, let me off on the ship." He tells Esper. "On it." He replies dropping him off. "Time to show you what I can really do!" Juno yells out, he creates a barrier around Sulphyr so they don't get hurt, then they start to create weapons from shadows. "Shadow magic? I thought that shit was gone for good Lucille!" Admani yells. "Don't let him get his weapons!" Lucille yells out, Admani and Lucille charge at Juno but suddenly he dives into the shadows.

     "Let me out!" Echo yells. "Not yet." Sulphyr replies. Juno was fighting the two gods, the barrier was un-done and Sulphyr summoned their sword and charged at Admani. "Holy shit!" Admani yells out dodging. "Back off asshole!" Esper yells striking Admani with thunder. "What the fuck!? That shit hurt!" Admani yells, he sends a burst of fire magic towards Esper. "Watch out!" Sulphyr and Juno yell.
