Obviously, what happened at He-ra's party not only hurt Suyin but Ri-an also.
Suyin only caught wind of it when he was to pick her up this morning-curtesy of Jae-I. He just sat, seething with his fists on his lap.
It worsened when they came into school and were about to go on their path. Kang Ha just stood in the middle of the hallway.
This guy just doesn't learn.
Ri-an decided to bump his shoulder with his while passing, Suyin just walked right past him to her morning class.
Professor V was waiting by the door for her with a beaten-up Lee-Jo and Tae-Hyuk.
"Well?" Professor V looked at the two who bowed their heads at Suyin.
"We're sorry, Ms. Jang!" Their loud shout echoed in the halls as most of the students looked to see what was happening.
"It's okay." Suyin felt shy at the attention thrown towards her and tried to enter the classroom.
"Remember to check in." Professor V head to the board.
"Oh, yeah." Suyin got her student ID and checked in before locking the classroom doors behind her.
Due to the J-Team being the wizard tech of the school with Suyin at the very top, they design and plan most of the events the school keeps and plan whatever to do in another school's event. This caused the other students to try and sneak in so Tae-Hyuk designed special ID cards for the tech class students only. After everyone has been accounted for, the doors would be closed after scanning the last ID and will be shaded so that no one from the outside could see what was going inside. The only time the doors were open was when all the students were not accounted for.
"Today, we'll be planning for the J-TCR." Professor V had lined up the board with four columns, 'Sub-themes, presentation, roles, and materials'. "The main theme for this year's J-TCR is 'It is pleasant and befitting to die for one's country'. Any ideas on what the sub-themes would be?"
"Taking it from a literature perspective, we could have something like 'War' or 'Death'," Lee-Jo interjected.
"Okay." Professor V wrote down his words.
'I wonder what Kang Ha is doing.' Moments of the night before flashed in Suyin's mind, causing her to flush. 'Thank God for my dark skin.'
"...."
Morning classes were finished and Suyin was walking down the lobby with He-ra and Jae-I when all of a sudden.
"Jae-I."
A wild Kang Ha appeared.
Jae-I heard him with the pause she made and tried to walk faster.
"Hang on. Can we talk for a minute?" Kang Ha proposed, making the three stare at him.
"Yeah." Jae-I watch his eyes drift to He-ra and Suyin. "Just say it. Don't worry about them."
Ha cleared his throat.
"You heard her." He-ra watched him with a trained eye.
"I'll just go." Suyin held her laptop bag tightly and carried on with her walk.
It was probably the best she had walked away because his next words would've set her mind ablaze by the second.
"...."
The school day had ended and Suyin took a ride home on the bus, not wanting to suffer in the heat of Ri-an's anger.
A text came in on her phone, coming from an unknown number. She decided to deal with it later.
The bus pulled to a stop at the outskirts of a narrow paved road leading into the forest area.
Before Suyin hopped off the bus, the driver tried stopping her, asking her if she knew where she was going. Suyin replied with a simple yes and began her trek home.
Just a few miles from the bus stop, she stopped at a sign by the road before the road broke apart to lower into the ground. The piece of road shook a bit but wasn't enough to knock her off before it traveled a bit down a tunnel to another spot with light.
The platform rose to bring her back up to level ground where the sun warmed her face. Looking around, she had reached her family estate. However, the estate had a plastic somewhere around it. Why?
"Hi, Pheobe." Suyin greeted the lion by the side of the dome who seemed happy to see his owner.
It's because her family decided to buy one or two of every animal on earth and bought a large forest with the correct terrain for them to live in.
Snakes, lions, alligators, you name it.
They, sadly, attacked a few of her father's guests because they thought they were wax.
Phoebe didn't like the taste of the chairman though. So, to not get charged with assault, Suyin's father got his brother, a mechanic engineer, to build an indestructible cover for the front parking spot to the manor and an underground entrance for visitors that led to the manor.
Of course, his brother thought it was ridiculous until he saw the file that was written and the animals themselves.
Enough about that though, Syyin was now playing with Nala, the black panther, and her little cubs; Mana, Lana, and Sana, instead of doing her homework.
The garden was big enough for any playing activities between the young girl and her pets and she had on pads just in case they tried to get sneaky.
"I'm gonna get you!" Suyin ran slowly behind the three cubs, picking up her speed bit by bit to encourage them to run faster.
"Suyin!" Her father called from the barrier's entrance. "Dinner time!"
"Coming, Dad!" Suyin called back.
"Make sure you do leave the gate open." Her father stressed out the last word before going inside.
'For any creepy viewers who are watching my life, did I tell you I was part Asian and Jamaican? The dangerous duo? No? Well, there you have it.' Suyin opened her phone to check it for any notifications. "Oh, forgot about this..."
Her voice trailed off as she saw the message.

》"And we all know how he would react."
"Shit." Suyin's eyes widened at her predicament.
