Suyin was in deep poo.

Sitting in the lounge with her mother across her in a chair and her father pacing the room.

"So..." Suyin finally got the courage to look at her mother who was busy with her phone.

"So?" Her mother pried her to continue.

"Father God up above." Her father looked up to the ceiling before turning. "Explain." He sat in the sofa beside her. "They say that kids nowadays are not being heard so explain."

Suyin could tell he was about to explode any minute so she explained the best she could from the start of the school year. "I really didn't think He-ra would've done that but it's not what it seems like, Ha is a good person and only became my boyfriend just a few days ago..but we really met at the freshman party and it kind of got messy from there since he kissed Jae-I and I was feeling a few things-"

"So that's why you came to me." Her mother hummed.

"Yeah..." Suyin nodded her head.

"Now how mi a explain this to Jung now?" Her father hissed his teeth.

"What does he even have against us to make you even talk to him?" Suyin looked at her father. "After all they've done."

"Believe me, I never want to talk to him either but them know, girl." Her father stood up and paced again. "Them just a go make mi son grave turn just because of them foolishness here."

"It's either we seal the contract from years ago with you and Haneul or the business goes down and your father goes in jail." Her mother stated. "But either ways, we'll lose you for better or worse."

"So it's either I go through willingly or forcefully?" Suyin licked her dry lips, seeing her father exit to the aquarium room where the sounds of glass shattering were heard.

"Don't worry, darling. We won't let them take you." Her mother tried to reassure her. "Just go to your room and get some rest."

Suyin stood up and went to her room, ignoring the sound of her mother fussing over her father's bloodied hands.

Suyin sat in her bed after changing into her night clothes and stared into space. It took her a while before she picked up her phone and went to message someone.

Mr. Jung was cleaning his gun with his children, Jae-I doing the most. Haneul was just cleaning the hand guns at a seperate table to the right of the group.

"Right before you pull the trigger, the target senses it. They can feel that a bullet will soon be passing through their body. What matters next is how they react. Either they stand clueless and meet death, or they're swift enough to live another day." Mr. Jung examined his gun. "The look in their eyes at that moment, in that brief instant preceding their death or their escape, is the most exhilarating thing in the world."

"You're right. Every time I hit something that's trying to run away, I get this insane rush of adtenaline." Jae Hyeok was smiling wide.

"That's why I find hunting enjoyable." Mr. Jung nodded with a small smile. "What about you, Jae-I?"

At her name, she looked up. "Well, I think-"

"'Oh, that poor thing, so weak and defenseless.'" Mr. Jung mocked her thoughts. "Something along those lines?" He looked through his gun. "Does that explain the scholarship boy and that.....girl?" He hesitated at the end.

The two brothers looked at each other with held in laughs at their sister's predicament.

"Do you feel the same compassion for them as you do for the game animals that cower and flee from you on the hunting grounds?" Mr. Jung stood to Jae Hyeok's right. He pointed the gun over their heads and pulled the trigger, hearing the familiar click. He blowed a bit into the chamber. "Because, otherwise, I can't understand it."

"'Scholarship'." Jae Hyeok said smugly, chuckling a bit. "Well, I guess it's like mother, like daughter for them. Just something low-class sluts have in common." He laughed.

Jae-I looked offended but kept her reaction under a neutral look. Haneul, otherwise came over to his younger and slapped him across the face, their father holding him uo by his mouth.

"Don't ever let me hear you talk like that again, you brat." Mr. Jung scowled. "This isn't a subject for you to babble about like an idiot." He let him go. "Both of you, get out."

"Yes, sir." Jae Hyeok kept his head lowered while walking out.

Haneul looked at his father's back, knowing the only rason he humbled his brother was because of his admiration for Mrs. Jang, Suyin's mother.

"It's like history is repeating itself." Suyin's mother cared for her husband's hand. "It was the same tactic his father used to try and get me."

"What did he do?" Suyin's father looked up when she stopped.

"They killed him."

It was another day of school.

He-ra hurried out of her car to walk together with Ri-an inside the school.

"Well done, Yoon He-ra." Ye-ji complimented her friend from the side. "You might survive this after all."

"What's that again?" Ba-da inquired.

"Imagine if she tried to take on Jae-I alone." Ye-ji simplified. "We'd be waving 'bye' at her funeral by now."

Ba-da hummed in agreement.

"By sticking next to Ri-an, she has guaranteed protection and supervision." Ye-ji nudged Ba-da who layed on her shoulder nodding.

Ha walked to a stand behind Jae-I.

"I asked you here to apologize." Jae-I spoke first. "My dad....I'm sure you felt insulted the other night."

Seeing Mr. Jung step close, Ha spoke, "It's nice to meet you, sir." "What makes you think you have the right to address me?" Mr. Jung glared at him.

"Please, that doesn't affect me after what I've put up with at Jooshin. I'm immune by now." Ha had his hands in his pockets. "But thanks anyway."

"Why are you thanking me?" Jae-I was confused.

"Plenty of people at this school has done bad things to me, but not one of them has apologized. You're the first person to apologize." Ha chuckled. "Other than Suyin."

Ha was down after getting shouted at by Mr. Jung and head to a secluded hallway. "Kang Ha!" He turned and saw Suyin. "I'm sorry." Ha smiled at her. "Suyin!" Her parents called her from some hallways over. Suyin waved at him before hurrying back to her birth givers.

"She apologizes for everything, even if she wasn't in fault." Jae-I looked down before loking at him. "Well, if it happens again, don't wait around expecting another apology. Don't try to fight. It's better to just run away." She started walking away.

"Jae-I." Ha called out. "Do you still like Kim Ri-an?"

Jae-I turned. "What?"
