The Nerd 👓 [Kang Ha]

Jae-I had confronted Kang Ha about his reason for attending Jooshin, making a lead on the fact that she might know his real identity.

But why did they have a stare off for so long? Suyin didn't know the answer to that but it was quite entertaining.

"I came here for one reason only." Ha paused with a hum. "That is to take your place."

This caused Suyin to facepalm. Who isn't trying to take Jae-I's place?

"I'm trying to be number one." Kang Ha continued. "I heard if I'm top student, Jooshin will pay for me to study abroad, and when applying to foreign branches, I'd get priority consideration."

'Where did he hear that from?' Suyin thought as she checked her phone for the time.

"Up till now, you were always the top student, weren't you?" Kang Ha purposely used past tense. "No scholarship student has ever received those benefits." He gave a smug smirk. "Well, I'll be the first one. So watch out. I'm coming for ya. They're just grades to you, but it could be......a life-changing opportunity for me." He ended with a smile.

Jae-I thought over her evidence and decided to think more at home. "I'll be leaving."

"Thank you, once again, Jae-I." Suyin did a small bow with a large smile at her friend, knwoing she doesn't like the show of gatitude.

"It was nothing." Jae-I started walking off. "Get home safe."

"You too." Suyin watched her disappear before turning to Kang Ha. "Wanna go home together?"

And there they were in her car driving to Kang Ha's stop. Diablo called in sick so another staff decided to drive her home from school.

"Where to, sir?" The man, Thomas asked.

Kang Ha told him his address before relaxing in his seat and looking at the car interior, black and bronze golden just like the outside.

"Your father is giving you two hours extra to stay out of the house, young mistress." Thomas looked in the rear view mirror. "He said to use it wisely. The word wisely in all caps."

Suyin smiled. "Okay." She pulled out her phone, already having a list of activities planned.

"Your father gives you time from home?" Kang Ha inquired.

"Yeah. Wanna come?" Suyin offered, showing him her list.

"Sure." Kang Ha grinned at her, seeing a part of the list being something he liked.

That's what they did for the rest of the evening. And when the two hour mark came, Kang Ha was dropped off at the house with a stunning good bye kiss on his cheek.

Suyin had gotten ready and was fixing her earrings before she got a text on her phone.
