The Best Summer Ever! (Ferb x Oc)

Tri-Stone Area

It was a clear, sunny day. Two boys sat in their backyard with their pet, going through ideas on things to build that they had carved into stone tablets.

The green haired boy saw a type of squirrel roll past on an acorn and carved the idea down and showed it to his brother.

The idea was a circular object they could roll around. A wheel.

His brother loved it.

"May, Phinabunk, wa ka-tooka?" Greeted a ravenette as she walked over to them.

"May, Isabelok." Phinabunk greeted back and told her that him and his brother, Gerb, were going to make a wheel.

Two more of their friends, Boofgerd and Baljug walked over and joined them.

The group had some stone brought over to get started.

Inside, the dad went out to hunt while the mom saw him off. She then turned and looked in shock at her reflection in a piece of ice hung on the wall.

"Cantock!" She called out and her teenage daughter ran over to her.

Cantock immediately asked if she could be in charge and her mother agreed. Handing her a stick with a piece of coal on the tip and feathers tied to it. She then headed out and Cantock grinned and went out back where the kids were.

"Phinabunk and Gerb! Cantock in charka!" She yelled. Telling them that she was in charge. She then went back in, sat on a stone chair, and started hitting a log with a couple of stick to talk to her friend in a nearby cave. Her friend played a drum back.

Outside, the kids started carving into the stones that were brought.

At first their friends carved a cube. But Phinabunk gestured at the carved picture Gerb was holding. Telling them it needed to be circle.

Izabelok thought for and grind before they carved a circle-shaped hole right through the cube.

Phinabunk and Gerb just looked at each other and Gerb shrugged.

Suddenly, there was a loud thunk, and the kids turned to see someone covered in saber-toothed tiger skin perched on the stack of stone that hadn't been used yet.

"Sibera!" Isabelok yelled and kids ran to hide while Phinabunk and Gerb just stood there.

The Sibera had only showed up recently, but was already well known for being a night time hunter. It was unusual to see it out and about during the day.

Phinabunk theorized that all their noise had woken it up and it came to investigate.

"May, Sibera." Phinabunk greeted them. Already prepared to make them a friend. "Gerb n de maka wah!"

Sibera tilted their head curiously and sniffed at the cube they made with the whole in it.

The boys gestured their friends back over and the group slowly got back to work while the Saber cat covered person sat and watched them.

Phinabunk and Gerb finally made a wheel and Phinabunk excitedly hopped onto it and started rolling it around.

They made a couple more so they could all roll around while the Sibera play-chased after them on all fours.

Cantock got irritated by all the noise and stomped out outside to yell at them but paused when she saw them all rolling around with some weird person in animal skin.

Phinabunk told her about the wheel and she ran off threatening to tell mom.

Phinabunk when stopped and rolled when he noticed something and Gerb, Isabelok and Baljug all stopped rolling, with the Sibera skidding to a stop in the middle of them all. Their wheels all forming a square.

Phinabunk told them he just had an idea and Gerb carved it out on a stone tablet to show their friends.

They were going to make a car.

Cantock ran all the way to where her mom was getting her hair cleaned but her mom didn't believe her so she started to sadly walk back. But then she heard an odd knows and excited yelling.

The kids had made a car out of sticks and circular stones and powered by Boofgerd's running.

Cantock started to run after them but got distracted by her crush, Jerebunk, who had greeted her when she ran by.

She then ran after them again but got picked up by a giant vulture and carried off in the direction of the volcano.

Cantock wacked the vulture with her stick, which made it drop her, and she landing on the slope of the volcano. The coal of her staff getting heated up the lave oozing down next to her.

She grabbed the staff, looked confused at the smoke coming off of the the coal, before hearing her mom call out to her and saw her mom making her way home.

Cantock noticed that her mom was near where the kids had stopped and got out of their invention. So she planned to take her mom to them.

She ran over to her mom, trying to tell her about the invention and get her to follow, when a heard of mammoths chased a guy right past them.

Meanwhile, the kids were all talking about the invention while the Sibera excitedly climbed all over it, wanting to go again.

Gerb tried to lure them off the car with food, worried that sticks would break and they'd end up hurt.

Suddenly, the Sibera paused and sat at attention at the top of the car. Seeing the stampede coming right for them, it jump onto the ground and tackled Gerb out of the way.

Gerb nearly got the wind knocked out of him when the Siber slammed into him and they hit the ground. The heard of mammoths rushing by and trampling the car to pieces.

The saber head had fallen off when they hit the ground, so when the Sibera lifted off of him to see if he was alright, he was smitten by hair as white as snow and brilliant red eyes.

Gerb couldn't stop staring at the pretty girl.

But, suddenly, she winced and tried to hide away from the bright sun.

He sat up when she crawled off and he grabbed the saber head and put in back on her. The Siber let out a noise that sounded like a purr of relief. And though he mourned the loss of her pretty features, he preferred the saber head keep her protected. It was obvious the sunlight hurt her in some way.

Cantock ran over in distress when all that was left of the invention was smashed up pieces. The mom calmly walked over to greet the kids, and look curiously at the Sibera who was crouched and hiding behind Gerb. All while Cantock threw a small tantrum.

Suddenly, the coal at the end of Cantock's staff burst into flames and everyone stared in amazement.

"Cantock maka foom-fa!" Phinabunk exclaimed.

They had all went home and used the fire that night to roast some meat. They all sat around the fire on logs and ate their meal.

Gerb feeding the Sibera marshmallows, him and his brother's latest invention, whenever she would lightly headbutt him.

Gerb looked at his brother. "Guess we should wait until tomorrow before we tell them about our new language."

Phinabunk grinned. "Yes. Yes, we should."
