The morning sun's rays began to replace the calming night sky as it crept through the window, landing on Y/n's face.
Y/n let out a tired yawn, rubbing their eyes. It didn't take long for Y/n to get some pep in their step and jump out of bed to Beans shaking her awake.
"Beans, wake up, we gotta be ready for school. " They whispered. Beans lazily swatted Y/n away. "Nooo, let me sleep; the alarm hasn't gone off yet," She whined.
"That's good, we can be the first ones to get breakfast." They persuaded, dragging Beans out of bed.
"Fine, you win i'm up." She said groggily standing up as Y/n pulled her downstairs to the kitchen and poured themselves some cereal. After a few minutes, Bean's woozy expression morphed into a crafty one. "Y/n, When we go to school let's sneak out."
Y/n gave her a side eye while she drank the milk from their bowl, leaving a milk mustache on their top lip when they finished. "Why?" Y/n questioned. Beans gestured toward their left arm. Y/n did as told and made an oh face recalling yesterday. "Why can't we do it after school?"
"Because someone could try to take the hat, and you said you left it by the park that's not far from the school, so we can do it really fast and no one will notice."
Y/n thought about it, they would've asked Valentina to get it, but she still hasn't shown up yet and probably won't see her till after school. Neither of them wanted someone to take it, so sneaking around seemed like the only way to get the cap before someone else did.
"I hope no one took it yet." They thought turning to Beans leaning in her ear. "Let's do it, but we have to be super sneaky." They whispered.
Bean's face immediately lit up. "Like super spy's." she said making Y/n squeal in delight. "Yes, I can be Agent P, and you can be Agent B." Beans agreed squealing along with Y/n as a group of younger kids came in to join the squeal party till one of the caretakers scolded them for the ruckus, though the chaos didn't stop till everyone was out the door for school. The two slipped away from the crowd without anyone noticing.
They bolted to the place Y/n had left the cap, but it was nowhere to be seen. Beans started to pull on her fur out of stress. Y/n grabbed her by the shoulders. "Pull yourself together, Agent B! The wind might have blown it someplace else in the park.
Beans took a deep breath. "Your right Agent P, you go left, I go right."
Y/n nodded. "Got it."

"Mum, can they pull a rabbit out of a hat?"
"Mum, can the magicians make themselves disappear?"
"Girls, I already told you I'm not sure if they can do all those tricks." Chilli repeated herself for what felt like the millionth time since last night when she came home to find her daughters sitting on the living room couch in oversized black jackets and shades while her husband was on all fours on the side of the couch.
"Girls wh-" before she could finish, Bluey cut her off.
"That's landlord Bluey and Bingo to you Missy." She said, pointing a finger at Chilli, or what was supposed to be the jacket sleeves which were covering her whole arm.
"You're late-" Bingo started but she quickly cut herself off, noticing the treat in Chilli's hand. "Is that a cookie!?" She yelled while Bluey gasped.
The girls jumped off the couch to Chilli, tails wagging side to side. "Now hang on, this is my cookie." Chilli said, holding the cooking in the air so they couldn't reach it.
Bandit crawled over to Bluey to whisper in her ear. "Ooh, ok, you have to pay your late fees with cookies."
"what? I thought this was a late feed-free house.
