Sorry about the long wait but like I explained writers block and I've been REALLY BUSY (please don't hate me). This chapter is short I'm sorry but anyways ENJOY!
K x xI haven't seen Jeff in three weeks. Not a lot of things happened. Chris had his funeral. It was nice. It wasn't too depressing but it wasn't too happy. It was a good way to remember him. dad went back on another fishing trip (unsurprisingly) and Abby got herself a
Boyfriend. Like usual, it only lasted two weeks. That was just Abby for you. She acted like she was devastated but Jacob and I shrugged it off.It was a cold, rainy Thursday and was walking home. The air was clammy and the wind nipped at my skin. My clothes were soaked with rain and hung to me. I hurried up the hill and ran inside the house. I sighed as I got changed into warm dry clothes and put the wet ones into the washing machine, setting it to a medium wash. I raided the fridge for food and sat on the couch in the living room eating.
There was a knock on the door. I groaned as I got up and strode over to the door. I opened it, and standing in the pouring rain, was Jeff. I forcefully pulled him inside, slammed the door and wrapped my arms around his waist.he rested his chin on by head and played with my auburn hair. I really needed to get it cut.
"It's been so long." I said, pulling away from him. He sighed and his gaze fell to the brown carpet.
"I know. And I'm sorry. I just wanted you to have some time alone." He said. He looked up at me. His eyes were filled with sorrow. I nodded at him to show I'd forgiven him and buried my head in his chest while he held my close."Come on! You're cheating!" He whined and he threw his controller in defeat. I laughed.
"I'm just more skilled. You really think you can win by mashing the buttons?!" I joked. Jeff pulled a pouty face which made me laugh even more. We were playing a stupid little kids game on the Xbox and Jeff couldn't get the hang of it.
"I didn't do that bad for my first time." He said, poking his long tongue out. I just laughed and was soon in tears. We played some more and like usual I won. Jeff had a major rage quit and actually stormed off, only to return with a grin on his face and a plate full of sandwiches. I shook my head at him. He pulled a ridiculous face and I was into hysterics. I didn't realise how much I had missed him until now.Jeff stayed over for the night. I had learned not to question it and just go with the flow. He climbed into bed beside me and nuzzled into my back. He placed his arm around my waist and stared into my eyes for what felt like a century. His face came closer to mine and I felt his breath tickling my cheek. He teased me and planted kisses across my jawline and moved up to my lips. I tried to deepen the kiss but he just pulled away and smirked. I sighed. Jeff lay back beside me and cradled me in his arms. I snuggled my head into his chest and drifted into slumber.
