My alarm went off. It was 8:30. I barely slept last night as I was fretting over my encounter with Jeff. What did he want from me? Will I ever see him again?

I rose out of bed and got dressed. I got breakfast and I ran out the door so I could get to college. It was a 20 minute walk from my house but I couldn't be bothered driving there.I dropped out of school last year so I could take an art and design course.

I walked into the canteen to the red table in the corner I always sit at. Jacob, Abby and Chris, my friends, were already there. I sat next to Jacob.

"What's up with you?" Abby chirped. She was always in a good mood which got a little annoying sometimes.

"Nothing is up,Abby."

"Are you sure your ok Alex?" Chris said worriedly. "You look like you haven't slept a wink last night."

"I'm telling you, I'm fine. I stayed up watching Netflix, that's all." I lied. Surely one little white lie won't hurt I thought. Chris and Jacob started talking about sports and stuff that I wasn't interested in. It wasn't long till class time.

It was a painfully long day. So much freehand drawings to do. So little time to do it in. I fell asleep during interval. Jacob had to keep on waking me up. It was kinda embarrassing to be honest. Eventually the day was over. We were discussing weekend plans on the way home as it was Friday.

"It's the big game tomorrow. I'm sorry I can't go with u guys. I have to go with my family and my bros." Jacob said.

"Hey, your brother isn't that bad. Unlike mine!" Abby giggled. She was always in a good mood which got a little annoying sometimes.

"I have work to do. People to see, places to go." I said. "And I need to catch up on some TV shows."

"Yeah, Alex. Your still on season 8 of Supernatural. It's getting beyond a joke." Chris piped.

I was walking up the hill (I live on top of this steep hill with loads of rocks and stuff. It's not very convenient) when I heard a voice behind me.

"How was college, Alex?" I knew it was Jeff.

"What do you want Jeff?" I shouted from behind me.

"Don't speak to me like that. I didn't do anything." I heard anger in his voice.

"You tried to kill me yesterday!" I spun round to face him. He was lurking behind some bins. He wore the exact same clothes as yesterday.

"And I didn't. So you be grateful" he glared at me. I glared at him.

What do you want Jeff?" I repeated. I didn't have time for this. I was cold and I wanted to sleep.

"I want to see your place." He grinned at me. His skin was so pale it seemed white in the sunlight.

"You snuck in last night!" I was loosing my patience with him.

"I only saw your bedroom. I didn't see anything else." I he was really annoying me now. I gave in.

"Fine. But don't do anything stupid." I marched up the hill to the house. I slipped the key into the hole and twisted till I heard the *click* sound. I pushed the door open and Jeff entered.
