I woke up to sunlight streaming in through the window. I groaned loudly, and strode down the stairs. Sitting on the couch was a little girl. She was wearing a faded ripped nightdress. She was holding an old faded teddy bear who had been stitched up. She smiled at me.
"What are you doing in my house?" I asked, glaring at her.
"I'm Sally, Jeffs sister." She said.
"And why are you in my house?" Her smile fades a little. "It's ok, I won't hurt you." I say sitting next to her.
"I need to show you something." She said, walking towards the door. I quickly slipped on my shoes and followed her, closing the door behind me."Where are we?" I ask Sally as we walk deeper into the woods. The further I walk the darker it gets. I had a really bad feeling about this.
"Don't worry. We're almost there." Sally said, smiling slightly. She was so little and innocent, yet she was smart and full of knowledge. We walked deeper and deeper, trees surrounding us. There was hardly any sunlight and the darkness was uncomfortable. I looked at Sally. she just turned at me and smiled. She was clutching that teddy bear tight. She stopped and crouched into some bushes, dragging me down with her.
"Over there." She whispered, pointing through the trees. I didn't see what she was pointing at, until it moved. I made out a dark shape just a couple meters in front of us. The shape broke in two, and I realised it was two people. A ray of sunshine came through the the thick trees and I saw the people features. One of the people had thick black hair, shaggy looking. He had on a white stained hoodie and black trousers. I easily recognised it was Jeff. I still couldn't see who else was with him.
As I continued to watch, they seemed to be getting closer and closer towards each other. I watched as Jeff wrapped his arms around the other person and kiss him/her. I felt a pang in my chest. I thought I was his special one. Was I one of his toys. I looked at Sally. She turned to me and gave me a sad smile. I looked at the human next to Jeff. It appeared to be a man. He had short black hair and was wearing a dark leather jacket and skinny jeans. I looked at his face and recognised it straight away.
It was Jacob.
