Archni and Changli followed the river down stream where they reached to the entrance of The Truthseeker's Pass. As Archni speaks when looking at the entrance. "I assume this is the Truthseeker's Pass Xinyi mentioned."
Changli: Yes. This should be another Chronosorter. It should work in similar ways with the one we saw near the Luminous Shore. The entrance is built on that cliff, and it's been blocked... We will need to break the three Photonvaults with ranged attacks first.
Archni: Easier said than done.
Changli ponders in thought as Archni question her. "What is it, Changli?" "Nothing. I was wondering, how did the Court of Savantae create such an advanced mechanism using the Sentinel's power? Mortals aren't supposed to be able to comprehend it."
Changli: I've never heard of any human civilization having the ability to manipulate time.
Archni: From what I found at the Whining Aix's Mire, facility. The researchers there were studying an ancient civilization and their efforts had failed from what I can say.
Changli: Unless the Sentinel willingly taught them... But why?
Archni shrugged his shoulders as he can't know the answer. Changli speaks to get them back on track. "We need to focus on items related to the Court of Savantae in Truthseeker's Pass. Maybe we can find some clues there." The two get to work as they tackle on figuring out the puzzle.
Which Archni the says a question to Changli. "Say, did Xinyi and Jinhsi know each other?" "Yes, they have. Jinhsi was chosen as a baby for her Resonance Ability, and raised in City Hall to become the Sentinel's Appointed Resonator."
Changli: All the government workers there helped care for and teach her at some point, including Lady Xinyi. She grew up with immense responsibilities, forced to suppress her true nature from a young age. Thinking back, Jinhsi was only a teenage girl when she became the Magistrate. She has been burdened with unimaginable weight that most cannot fathom.
Archni: Then she must be at her 18s or 19s. Uh... anyway let's get back at the task at hand.
The two solved and opened the way and upon venturing inside they encountered trouble, which Archni says. "Why are there Tacet Discord here? No, these monsters... They don't look like the usual Tacet Discords."
Changli: These, too, look like the works of the Court of Savantae. Did they create these simulated holograms to protect this place?
The two fought the TD holograms and once after they cleared the room, an object glowed which gained their attention. "That thing up ahead. Is it another mechanism?"
Changli: It seems to have unlocked after we got rid of those holograms. Let's go and have a look.
They check over of what they just uncovered as Changli can tell what it is. "The glowing patterns on that gate... It's a Flare Crest."
Archni: Let me guess, did the Court of Savantae build this too?
Changli: Yes. The Flare Crests have a complex structure, but they can be deciphered with patience.
See how each star represents a Flare Stone? That mechanism we accidentally solved earlier should be one of them.
Archni: That's why the corresponding star has dimmed.
Changli: Yes, we still need the other two Flare Stones to open it. Wait.
