James pov.

"So what happened? How did Evans and Snape find out about the map? And how did they know about the Shrieking Shack?" I asked the three boys chilling out on my bed as I paced around the room.

"When we was looking for you, we saw only Snape in the hall. So he must have followed us, saw the map and heard us say you was at the shack, we was confused because we was just there." Moony explained. Guilt hit me in the gut like a dunk in ice cold water.

"We wasn't paying attention to our names, so he must have been close, we was just looking for you." Padfoot said, unknowingly dunking me in the ice cold water of guilt more.

The guilt pooled in my stomach of the fact that it was my fault that Moony's place for full moons  was revealed somewhat and the map had been also revealed.

"I'm sorry, guys. It's my fault that the map and the shack was revealed." I sat on the edge of the bed, facing them.

"It's fine, James. The location didn't get out so we'll be fine. As for the map you only told Lily that it was spelled to locate the four of us, and no one can use it unless they know what to say to activate it." Moony said leaning back, and moved his legs a little bit more comfortably, as Padfoot was laying on them.

"But if I can ask ,James, what is going on with you? Why did you hide from us?" Padfoot asked. The other three Marauders was looking at me curiously and I looked at the bedsheets.

I couldn't find any excuse, so I just lifted up my shoulders and shook my head. They seem to just leave it alone and we just talk about other things and take the privacy spells off. Sirius asks me if he can get on my back when I'm in my animangus form. I say absolutely not, while laughing.

We talk some more before Peter started yawning. "Alright, time for lights out." Remus says pushing Sirius off of him. He goes to his own bed, surprisingly not stumbling after having Sirius on him for a few hours. Peter gets up after laughing a little at the two and goes to his own. Sirius stays on my bed. Simon came in and got into his bed, closing his curtains.

"You okay, Simon?" I hear Remus ask the male as he heads into the dorm bathroom.

"Yeah. Lily Evans kept pestering me about you guys. Eventually, when I said you guys never left the dorm at night, She left me alone after that." Simons tired reply came from his bed.

"Is that all she said?" Peter asked.

"Yeah. She was just wondering what y'all talked about and if y'all ever leave at night." He said. "She probably likes one of you. Maybe wanted to know if y'all talked about shagging some girl recently. Don't know why she'd be interested in y'all though." Sirius scowled at the curtains and looked at me. I roll my eyes playfully and bumped him with my leg. I saw Peter look down and rolled my eyes when he looked up and gave him a thumbs up.

"Night, Potter, Black, Pettigrew, Lupin." Simon said.

"Good Night." Peter said looking reassured.

"G'night." Sirius and Remus said when he came back into the room. I echoed them, but my mind was elsewhere. After Sirius went to his own bed and the others closed their curtains, every light went out except Remus' light from his wand.

I went into the bathroom and got in of the showers. I don't know how to tell them that I am questioning my sexuality. How am I supposed to tell them that I, the only heir to the Potter pure blood family, is questioning my sexuality.

I mean Lily is beautiful and I've shagged a few girls, but none of them appealed to me. None of the women at Hogwarts does, either. Ofcourse she could like one of the others, but I'm sure she was just asking to find out where we go when Simon is asleep. If not, there was only one person who appealed to me.
