Y/N POV

I started noticing Rodrick not talking to me as much anymore. In the halls at school, the country club, or when I try and visit him at his house.

I grabbed my phone and dialed his mom's number hearing it ring until she picked up. "Hey Y/N, is there a problem?" She asked confused on why I would be calling her. "Yeah, Rodrick hasn't been calling me back or talking to me at all. Is there anything going on with him?" "Uhh, no. Not that I can think of." She paused for a moment. "I can try and talk to him." "Yes! Please Susan." "Okay honey I'll call you if I get anything." She hung up.

I honestly don't know what's gotten into Rodrick. Ever since that 'Heather Hills' girl showed up at school I've just been ignored. By his friends, him, and hell even his brother! I don't understand what could've gotten into him, it's like a week ago we were perfectly fine.

I started getting lost into thought when I heard my phone ring. "Hey Y/N." Thank God, it's Susan. "Hey, did you hear anything with Rodrick?" "He's actually not home."

Oh. "Do you know where he went?" I asked. "If I did I would tell you." She laughed a little. I hung up, I gotta find out where he is. I grabbed my car keys off of my vanity and walked downstairs. Grabbing my jacket I hurried out the door determined to find where he is.

I got into my car and turned on the engine, and began pulling out of the driveway. I could start by checking skate parks, fast food places, and gas stations.

I drove for awhile until I saw his van, it was parked at the gas station where we first met. I mean the van was a huge give-away since it literally has 'LODED DIAPER' painted in bold on the side. I pulled into a parking spot and waited, and waited until I finally saw him.

Who is that. I thought as I saw a pretty blonde next to him, nice sun glasses and dressed nicely. They looked good together, wait no- I can't be thinking these things he's mine.

I got out of the car and walked towards him. The closer I got the closer I realized that's Heather Hills. Rodrick looked mortified as he saw me. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "Trying to find you but clearly your busy." I rolled my eyes trying to fight back tears that were already forming. "Uhm, who are you?" Heather rudely blurted. "I'm his girlfriend who are you?"

She looked at Rodrick then back and at and folded her arms. "Listen little girl, I don't have time to deal with you and obviously he's not your boyfriend. I mean, you look like a bum!" She laughed and taunted me. I looked down at my outfit, she was right. All I was wearing was pajama pants and a random tank top.

Rodrick stayed quiet. "Really Rodrick? Your not gonna say anything? To her or to me?" I snapped making him finally look at me. "Well, okay so. I don't really like you anymore. I just didn't tell you guess I forgot." He shrugged. This is not the Rodrick I know, the sweet sweet boy wasn't here anymore. The one I fell in love with.

"So your just gonna leave me for her?" I couldn't stop the tears now. "Are you seriously crying?" Heather once laughed again. I looked at Rodrick who was slowly cracking. "Heather you don't understand what you just took from me." I stepped closer to her and looked at Rodrick. "And for you, why?"

He looked at me. "Because I didn't love you anymore." He coldly stated. "Seriously, SERIOUSLY? AFTER EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN THROUGH?" I yelled pushing him. "After all those nights. Those nights I stayed up, tutoring you, laughing with you, loving you. When you were sick I stopped by and brought you things. Rodrick, I love you." I whispered.

Heather backed up and just watched. "Or at least I did." I harshly said before turning around and started walking away. "Wait- wait." I felt an arm on my wrist, cold, unforgiving. "I'm sorry okay. I made a mistake." He stared into my eyes trying to find something, anything. "You tore apart everything we had with your betrayal, and now there's nothing left for us. Not even hope."

I looked over to see Heather recording the whole thing, god I wish I could just rip her head off. I turned back around and started leaving without anybody to stop me. I practically ran back to my car and started driving off.

When I was far from the parking lot and drove out onto an empty road I pulled over and broke down. I felt the hot tears stream down my face and I covered my face with my hands.

I loved him.
