Many years later 1387. Glyndwr lived in his ancestral home, Sycharth. A fortified manor house with a defensive wall and a Moat, but even now the spell is still passed down to each member of the royal family but now his home is under threaten as the baron Reynold the grey of Ruthin, has stolen some of his lands, just as the England has stolen from Cymru – his home for centuries, but of course as the baron was friends with the new king henry iv.
Soon word of unrest started to spread and on the 16th of September 1400, Glyndwr with his right full title as the true prince of Cymru which the English had took from them in 1301. Soon he seized the settlements, and his rebellion grew in size and strength, they took English castles and strongholds. But just like with Llywelyn the Welsh could not compete though with the size of the English military.
Owine Glyndwn now was leading a raid even though he knew that someone was after his family not just the English, somehow he could sense the power of the white dragon he knew he had to disappear knowing that his son maredudd ab Owain would carry on his blood line and will do what he has to do to keep Cymru safe until the time is right for the great dragon to return once more. Knowing if he went back to the dragons resting place, he would risk the English finding it. So he went to Herefordshire, near kentchurch halfway between Abergavenny and here ford near the river Monnow to make sure to be ready in case he had to come out of hiding to protect his family with his drying breath if needed.
Several years later and time is now dire if he doesn't gave into the English then his people would not survive, so Maredudd ab Owain had to surrender to king henry v ending the rebellion accepted a pardon from the king henry the v Maredudd went back to his ancestral home of Sycharth and still passing the spell to awaken the great dragon to his children and their children knowing that they would be ready for when the dragon came back.
