Cassia's POV:Over the next few weeks, the BAU was extremely busy, and so Spencer and I got even closer; spending late nights filing paperwork, going over case files and catching unsubs. However, this weeks case was particularly barbaric.
The briefing room buzzed with a mix of tension and excitement as the team prepared for our next move. We were in California, hunting a serial killer who targeted couples engaging in public sex. The unsub forced his victims to have intercourse, raped the woman, and then murdered both of them. Four couples had already fallen victim, and our only lead was that he hunted at popular hotels. The last place he had yet to hit was a 7-star luxury hotel near the beach."We need to send in two agents undercover," Rossi suggested, his eyes scanning the room. "They need to pose as his next potential victims to lure him out."
All eyes turned to Spencer and me. We had a reputation for handling pressure well, playing undercover roles convincingly, and, as everyone on the team had noted, having an undeniable chemistry. My heart raced at the thought of being on such an intimate mission with Spencer. It was a strange mix of professional excitement and personal thrill.
"You two up for this?" Hotch asked, his gaze serious.
Spencer and I exchanged a quick glance, silently agreeing. "We're ready," Spencer said, his voice steady.
We were briefed on the plan and given the key to a premium hotel room where we would be staying for the night. Hotch explained that we needed to pretend to engage in public sex, and the pool was identified as the perfect spot to lure the unsub. We both nodded, taking in every detail, making sure we knew exactly what to do.
Back in our hotel room, I took a moment to steady my nerves. The mission was risky, but the thought of being so close to Spencer in such a setting was exhilarating. I slipped into a dark purple bikini, the color complementing my tan skin and curvy body. When I walked out of the bathroom, Spencer's reaction was immediate—his eyes widened, and he visibly swallowed hard.
"You look... stunning," he said, his voice a bit strained.
"Thanks, Spence," I replied with a smile. "You ready for this?"
He nodded, though I could see the mix of nerves and excitement in his eyes. "Yeah, let's do this."
We made our way to the pool, trying to appear as natural as possible. The luxurious surroundings and the setting sun created an almost surreal atmosphere. As we settled into our roles, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation mixed with the gravity of our mission.
Spencer and I lounged by the pool, exchanging playful banter and laughter, trying to mimic the carefree demeanor of a couple on vacation. As the evening progressed, we moved closer, our touches becoming more intimate. I could feel Spencer's body heat, his proximity sending shivers down my spine.
"Remember, stay alert," Spencer whispered, his lips brushing against my ear. "He could be watching us right now."
I nodded, my senses heightened. We moved to the edge of the pool, our actions carefully choreographed to appear spontaneous. As we kissed, I couldn't help but feel the genuine chemistry between us, making it easier to sell the act.
The moment came when we needed to take it a step further. I straddled Spencer in the shallow end of the pool, our bodies pressed together. His hands rested on my hips, and I could feel his heart pounding against my chest.
"You're doing great," he murmured, his breath hot against my skin.
"So are you," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady despite the electric charge between us.
