" I'm so worried about her she didn't talk since she left us in the backyard and ran it's been a week and she just won't talk she sits there in her room she even hardly eats and this is Nora we talk about she's always eating yet she'd hardly take one single bite of her food " Nick said pacing in front of me
Since the day she left us well basically tricked us we tried to find here she just vanished literally! She was nowhere to be found and I had to travel cause I had work for a week and Nick called me that night saying she's home all safe and sound what he didn't tell me that she wouldn't eat or talk! I mean what happened! " Nick what happened? Where was she? That day we searched for her everywhere and didn't find her she must have some place that no-one knows about do you know it? " I asked and he looked panicked for a second but quickly recovered but I noticed that I knew he knew her place " Nick? Did you know her place? " I asked but it was more like an order " no If I knew I'd tell you " he said quickly toooo fast that I knew he was lying " Nick you're lying don't ever try to deny it now if you want to help her just tell me " he sighed " I can't cause she never tells anyoneabout it she didn't even tell me she keeps it as their secret " his eyes widened realizing what he just said " their secret? Who are they? " I asked and he shook his head sighing " I didn't say this I mean her secret just forget it it's not my thing to tell please if she knew I told you - even if it was an accident - she'll never forgive me EVER " he said and now it was my turn to sigh " fine but at least tell me where she was! "
" I can't no-one knows this she didn't even tell me I knew accidentally when I ... was .... walking with her ... . but she didn't know ? " is this his way to say he was stalking her? " you were actually stalking her? " I asked in disbelief " look I had my reasons she was ill and sad no in fact depressed I was afraid she'll hurt herself so I had to watch her " he said why would someone like Nora be depressed! Well I guess I'll never know if she kept on doing this " can I at least try talking to her? Maybe it'll work! " I said hopefully he looked at me and for once he looked hopeless? Nick actually the most cheerful, optimistic and hopeful person - well beside Nora- that i've met in my whole life is looking hopeless ...... he sighed a long sigh " fine but I don't think it'll make any difference " he said and we got upstairs and stood in front of her room Nick knocked on the door gently " Nora sweety I'm coming " he said and then turned and whispered to me " she don't reply so I just tell her and get into the room if there's something she'll throw a pillow at the door " we listened carefully but nothing hit the door " ok c'mon " he said opening the door we got in only to found that the room was empty there isn't a single sign of her " maybe she's in the toilet? " I said again hopefully "fine " he said and starting knocking on the door " Nora are you in there? " no answer " Nora? " silence " I'm coming " nope still no single sound he carefully opened the door and again no one there
We searched the whole house and there isn't any sing of her " Nick you've to tell me where did she go! I know you know her place c'mon i'm afraid she'll hurt herself " I said deadly serious he just shook his head " I can't she'll never forgive I'll go and check on her myself " he said but his phone rang "damn" he muttered under her breath" sorry just a second " he went to the back yard and I heared him screaming and shouting and yelling and cursing yep he's fighting ..............he walked back " sorry I have to go some serious family issues look Nora will be okay she's more than capable to protect herself believe me no one will ever care about my best friend more than me and i'm telling you she'll be fine " he said in rush and started walking towards the door buy I just yanked him by the collar and pushed him against the wall " look you're telling me where she's if you want to get out of here " I snapped at him " but -" he started but I pushed him again he groaned in pain "fine " he cursed under his breath " but you wouldn't tell her that i told you just make something up like you searched the whole city and just thought that she could be in that place cause no one - in their mind - goes there " he said
