🎧: You Were A Dream - Artemas
"You don't gotta love me, we don't have to speak."

Months went by, and just like that it was Cassie's 18th birthday. She celebrated it on the same day as Lamine's which meant double party.

She was in her room getting ready for it when someone knocked on the door. It was Rowan, who came to help Cas with her hair.

"You know we could leave your hair natural like that." She tried convincing her friend to finally give in, but of course Cassandra refused.

She didn't like her curls, so the only thing that could possibly make her accept her hair was straightening it. And so they did and then clipped the front pieces back with a pink ribbon.

She grabbed her purse which contained her phone and a wallet and made her way downstairs to where Hector and Lamine were waiting.

She smiled at the guys and hugged each before going outside and getting inside of the car. Hector who was the oldest was driving, meaning he wouldn't drink.

"Who did you invite?" Cassie asked as glancing at her best friend. She was curious and couldn't hide that fact.

"Just a couple of our friends and some of the guys i used to know back in the day." He replied quickly.

The group arrived at the restaurant in which the party was taking place. It was the duos 18th birthdays after all.
When they walked inside, everyone shouted "feliz cumpleaños" which meant happy birthday in spanish.

"Remember that half the money you get, is mine." Hector whispered to his sister and soon the two were laughing.

He put his arm around her neck and walked with her to the table where the siblings greeted some of their closest friends. Cassie sat down beside Lamine at the center of the table.

Behind them there were hung two big balloons in "18" shapes, one navy blue and one light pink. The whole room was decorated in the two colours.

Cas glanced around the room trying to recognise some of the invited people, but since there were two tables some people sat too far away for the girl to see.

Her best friend Rowan brought a digital camera with her to take some cute pictures of the girl. The two posed and had fun with her friends.

It was time for Lamine and Cassie to finally blow out the candles on their birthday cakes. People gathered around the pair and sang the happy birthday song.

After that they all sat back down and that's when the real party begun. Cassandra ordered a Martini for her and Rowan while the guys were already a tiny bit tipsy.
