"You know that she's mine."
Cassie stared at the two. She couldn't quite believe what she was seeing. He moved on so quickly it was amusing to her.
"You're a joke to me." She scoffed. "Forget about everyone, forget about me. I don't wanna see you again." She snapped as her eyes filled up with tears.
She ran out of the room and made her way to the exit where she broke down. Warm tears rolled down her cheeks as she walked out of the stadium.
Marc caught up to her seconds later, trying to stop her from walking away. She didn't want anything to do with him, and quite frankly he was like a ghost to her.
"Can you just listen to me, please!" He plead as grabbing her wrist and pulling her close. Cassie looked him in the eyes with her chin shaking from sobbing.
Marc held out his hands and placed them on Cassandra's cheeks, pulling her face in for a kiss. The gesture shocked her for a second but she gave in nearly instantly.
The two kisses for over two minutes, getting soaked in the rain as it had begun. When they finally pulled away from each other, Cassie looked Marc deep in the eyes.
"Stop shattering my heart." She whispered as he still held her face gently. He kissed her forehead and rested his onto hers and sighed.
"If only i could have you." He muttered. Cassie felt tears gathering in her eyes again but blinked them away. The two pulled away from each other for good.
Cassie gave Marc the last look before beginning to walk away. "I'll always love you, even if you hate me and get with somebody else." Marc admitted, making the girl look behind.
"And i'll always be waiting." She replied as giving him a soft smirk and walking away for good. Cassie felt so broken on the inside it was nearly unbearable.
Was this the end of them? Why wouldn't he just leave that girl for Cassandra? Is there going to be a happy end? Are they together in the end?
All those questions held onto Cassie for the rest of the trip, making it one of the hardest times of her life.
