david and the group travelled for months and went trough many hardships during the travels but also had a lot of fun times whenever they found a little secluded place to rest. as they advanced forward they arrived at the temple. it was ginormous and made out of the darkest obsidian there was and over all dark material, as they walked on the bridge to the building they wondered upon the many details of the temple, the ginormous gate with statues of all kind of gods besides it.
the six teenagers were astonished by the beauty and sheer size of it, "how could someone build such a thing.. its, its enormous, probably one room is the size of a basketball court back home.." carlos said
david looked closely at the temple admiring each and every detail his eyes could see. "lets not forget our goal yall" jake jumped towards the entrance and as he was about to enter he got knocked out of the air by a pastel pink barrier around the castle. carlos immediately caught jake and laid him down. "what was that..?" ambrosia asked as she looked up at it. "it must be some kind of magic barrier casted by the people who made this." david activated his light magic and picked up a bunch of large rocks. he put his hand forward and threw them at the barrier. as expected they did not get past it and they just stumbled away.. like u would have thrown them at a wall. "maybe if i do this" david dis a bunch of swift hand movements and created a very concentrated crystal that contained magic. he threw it at the barrier then snapped his fingers causing it to release the energy inside it. "nothing, ugh" he sighed.
after many hours of all kind of ways to break or disperse the seal they gave up. the loud booms and sounds from the extreme use of magical explosions and the barrier rejecting every magic they had to offer traversed far away to the cottage of a person who wandered over there to see what is happening. "he came." he whispered to himself as he teleported to the peak of a mountain and saw david sitting on the ground. the person plunged from the cliff and landed infront of david and the others. everyone was shook as they saw the mysterious gatekeeper descend infront of them. with a dark deep voice that seemed to echo as it spoke it uttered. "you are the light casted from the above to disperse of the terrors the overlords cast upon us, you are the cleanser of cities and the soul of a star" carlos's face was in a state of confusion and shock as he heard all of this. "i dont understa-" david tried to speak to the gatekeeper but it rose up into the sky and floated towards the temple. it put it hand up and whispered some strange words. after that the strange power of the barrier gathered in his hands. and was shot up into the sky. with a power that defied gravity and shook the earth.
the rags of the gatekeeper fell to the ground with no body in them as if he has vanished from them into thin air, "we can enter the temple of priaspus now" isabella said as she jumped towards it. david and carlos were suspicious and still not over the fact david was named all those things.
some time later they enter the temple. at the entrance theres two stairways leading to one big door on either side of the room. "we should probably go up those stairs" jake jumped on top of them and started walking towards the door, "yeah we should." isabella also said. they all open the door and it leads to a long hall with a red carpet and multiple objects on pedestals. "these are probably ancient possessions of historical figures" ambrosia said while examining them closely. they exit the hall and enter a beautifully decorated room, it seems to contain a few couches and carpets, along with beautiful paintings on the walls. "oh yeahh finally a fuckin' living room" carlos takes off his jacket and heads straight to the couch, "oooh this feels so nice" isabella said as she also sat on the couch, david walked around the roomand examined every little decor carefully, behind the couch there was a big crystal statue of a bull, the symbol of strength probably, there was a door that lead to a little balcony with a chair table and some books on it, david closed the door behind him and sat in the chair, zoning out for a while, until he saw something strange... he got out of his chair and he could not believe his eyes. in the air he saw hollies, the hollies were a type of smaller eagles that were thought to be extinct since the 45000s. from human hunting, they beautifully flew in the sky screeching and singing.
