mthey have been travelling for a while, seven months to be exact. on their journey they made new friends and lots of enemies. "we should take a rest at these ruins." carlos landed down on his rock with isabella and ambrosia accompanying him, everyone was extremely tired and all they wanted was a nights rest. "night yall" david used his light form to fly high up onto the highest part and sleep. and comes closer to him, "my name is iris. im here to take you to nexapolis." iris smiled at him and pointed towards some very modern looking cars parked right outside, "how can i trust you?" david looked at the cars then back at her, "nexapolis has been known for treating everyone equally and being a safe cybernetic place, no monster gets in our walls." iris said with a serious tone before jumping from the ruins to the ground. "GUUUYS, WE ARE GOING TO NEXAPOLIS IN A FUCKING CARR" david yelled in relief, everyone looked up and saw him jump down. leaving light magic on the ground as he landed, "in a car??" ambrosia questioned him "yes. shes here to help us." david pointed at iris, "heyy" she said with a smile on her face, "lets go then" jake landed on the ground and walked to the car, everyone left and went to the car, getting in, calros walked past iris and looked at her with a cold tone, "if you try anything sketchy i am ripping out your throat." she quickly got behind him and grabbed his hair with her magic. "try me." she whispered coldly in his ear. "get in the car already, nothing will harm you" she let go of his hair and pushed him towards the car. "bitch." carlos thought to himself. "it was quite strange. how did she know where we were??.
hours pass and everyone sleeps in the car, the nexapolis cars are so modern they dont need a diver, or fuel, they run on sunlight. iris taps david on the shoulder. he opens his eyes slowly being blinded by the artificial lights. "are we here..?" he mumbles. "yeah. wake everyone up please. we have to get you registered and get you an apartment." iris gets out of the car ans winks at david. "EVERYONE WAKE UP WE ARE IN NEXAPOLISSS" david screams in the car. everyone woke up instantly and mumbled something between their sleep. "ugh, you didnt have to yell..." jake got his head off of ambrosias shoulder who was cuddled up with isabella. "wake up babe. we are here.." she whispered in ambrosias ear while stretching her hand
. everyone got out of the car and stretched, they were parked in front of a large building, it looked like an office. as david was about to use his magic to open the door iris slapped him in the face. she grabbed him and looked around quickly. "magic is still forbidden even after the disaster, do not use it." carlos rolled his eyes and walked into the building first. opening the door for everyone else. "i havent been in a modern place in soo long" jake entered and his eyes darted across he place. "yeah, its real nice here." isabella added.
soon they noticed a lot of people giving them dirty looks and mean mugs. "hey iris, why is everyone looking at us weird??" carlos asked. "the office workers here are very cocky and judgemental. some of them are straight evil. they dont like outsiders." they all got in an elevator and started going upwards. "man its so nice being safe again." isabella said. "hmm.. yess.. since theres quite a few of you ur gonna need a big apartment. and jobs.." iris was thinking about how to get them accommodated as fast as possible. "oh we arent saying here forever, just temporary," david put his hand on her shoulder and smiled. "what, why not??" iris turned around and tilted her head. "just personal reasons." ambrosia saved david from a very awkward discussion. "yea. exactly." he said.
