the long excruciating days of constantly fighting and hiding from the monsters in that cursed city are finally over. the group decided to rest for a few days in a forest where they built a little shelter out of wood logs and would hunt for their food. isabella learned that her energy manipulation can be used to accelerate the aging of living things. that way they had a good supply of wild berries and vegetables. david kept practicing and perfecting his polearm attacks and magic usage. he found out he can use teleportation and that he can use his magic to blast himself off the ground. resulting in high jumps from where he would attack.
descender eventually reached adulthood and was now flying much faster.

carlos learned how to tie his shoes.
ambrosia would train with her daggers everyday along with david. she learned a whole bunch of new abilities and her slashing accuracy got ten times better. she learned how to use karate in combat and started practicing in her own too. when no one would see her of course. jake and descender would be the ones who would hunt for food. usually jake would make a small vortex to trap the prey in and descender would go in for the kill. but that all had to come to an end.
while the group was away from the cabin investigating something a group of lorotassionas emerged from the ground. the lorotassionas are a group of female warriors with icy cold hearts. white and pale bodies usually covered with clear quartz. they wield an ancient power from the depths of the crystal caves below. the only way they can use their magic abilities is by wielding their staffs.
while they were investigating something they suddenly heard a loud sound. almost explosion like from their cabin. david turned his head to the direction of the sound and the others did too. "what the fuck was that ?" carlos used his telekinesis to put down the bottles that they were working with and ran a hand trough his hair. "i dont know but it looks like its coming from our cabin.." ambrosia said with a scared tone. "im gonna go investigate" jake activated his wind magic and took off in a few seconds. as he jumped above the trees he saw their cabin being destroyed and heard the lorotassionas laughing to themselves as they used their powers to destroy it. anger overwhelmed jake and he jumped right in front of the three damsels.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING HERE YOU CUMSTAINED SHITS" he said while throwing wind blasts at them that they easily dodged with their staffs. they spoke a language he couldnt understand to themselves while he was yelling at them. one of them got sick of him and sent a blast of magic from her staff at him. the way it looked was strange. almost like they shot liquid a light blue and a mix of purple. jake swiped his hands upwards and sent it away from them into a tree. the three lorotassionas looked at each other with an angry expression and each put their staffs up. they started chanting something and after a few seconds hundreds of sharp crystals started raining down from above onto jake. "well this is not what i expected" jake started rotating his arms trying to make a tornado in order to block the crystals.
