Chapter two: in search for allies

isabella takes carlos to davids room and lays him on the bed next to david, she walks out of the room and locks it assuring nothing gets in or out.

-i should go into town maybe somene is alive and they can help us figure whatever this is out isabella says as she walks to davids gate and eventually into town, she walks around town for a few hours killing small monsters once in a while. eventually she stumbles upon a girl 

-WAIT DONT KILL ME she says as she closes her eyes and stays still

-woah woah im not killing you... whats your name? isabella says as she extends her hand over to the girl on the ground, the girl takes isabellas hand and she gets up  

-my name is ambrosia i was searching for anything of value or... food since those creatures managed to kill and destroy almost everything and everyone.. ambrosia says as she looks at isabella 

with a tired look on her face.

-i suppose u have some sort of magic am i right? isabella says with a slight chuckle, ambrosia remains silent for a second.

-i mastered the arts of healing from my dadbut i never got to actually use it on anyone since magic is banned and all ambrosia says softly as she looks at isabella. after that they talk for a bit more  time and they walk back at davids house 

eventually david wakes up and finds himself in his bed with carlos unconcious just laying there.

-what happned, why is carlos sleeping here.. david says as he rubs his eyes and gets up, he stretches and brushes his har and puts it in a ponytail he tries to walk out of his bedroom but finds that the door  has been lockd. he tries some more times but he eventually gives up and uses his magc to open the door

he eventually walks outside with his light magic flowing in his hands, he walks in his garden and  finds something that shocks him

-huh whats this doing here ?? david picks up the weirdly shaped egg from the ground with his light magic, as he turns around he sees hundreds of little black snakes coming at him. he puts his hand forward and he releases pure light from his fingertips putting all the snakes in a gentle trance 

Ambrosia and isabella walk trough the gate entering davids yard seeing him in the distance using his light magic

-oh look theres david carlos must have not woken up yet, isabella says as she points over to david in the distance 

-hey isabella and um whatever your name is david says with a soft look on his face

-my name is ambrosia nice to meet you 

-david, its my pleasure ambrosia. so whats your magic type? david says as he looks at ambrosias hands  

-well i mastered the arts of healing from my dad but never had the chance to use it since magic is banned and all... 

- we all practiced our magic abilities in secret until now so we are quite skilled, maybe we can teach you some things later if you want isabella says as she creates a little vortex in her hands

ambrosia looks at isabella smiling and she nods, in davids room carlos already woke up and is planning to go outside, he opens the door and walks outside seeing the three in their conversation.

- huh whos that next to isabella? he thinks to himself as he walks over to them.

david senses carlos behind them and looks behind him seeing him walk towards them he runs over to carlos and hugs him tightly.

-what even happened to you after the fight? you were passed out in my bed and all. david looks at carlos as he holds his face in his hands,

-i probably overused my powers and passed out from overexhaustion or something like that when we were fighting those things, but im fine now except for this carlos holds his hands up and reveals a huge bloody scar
