The day after we left Robin me, Clara and The Doctor where stood around the console. Everything seemed normal, although Clara was quite on edge, when I tried to ask The Doctor, getting the simple response of 'Routine' was all I took.
To be fair, I shouldn't have really asked him whilst he was doing his 'pottering'.
''So home time then'' Clara signed as my head shot up towards her.
Although I was extremely grateful for being taken into the Tardis and seeing what we had seen, a part of me was praying this wasn't the eventually 'Kick Y/n off' plan, no matter how wrong I could be, I was also very worried. I just felt sometimes I was intruding on their time together, and no matter how comfortable they both made me feel - I hate to say it, but I think in the end, I just need solid reassurance.
''Yes, yes, back to earth, back to your routine'' The Doctor spoke, almost shrugging the fact off like he had done it many times.
It was like I could feel my heartbeat everywhere, I had to try and prepare myself, ready to get told, well thanks very much for your time but really we have more important space stuff to do. I knew Clara would never approach it like that, but I couldn't put it past The Doctor.
Without saying a word, I sent a reassuring smile to Clara who seemed like this whole going back home was just an average thing she did, at least she was guaranteed another trip.
As the Tardis made its way inside the flat The Doctor approached the doors opening them dramatically as he could, Clara walking out first and as I made my way through the door's about to turn around to say a final goodbye to The Doctor, he beat me to it.
''Not you, where are you going'' he questioned, almost offended that I had the simple thought to leave.
''You said home, right?'' I quizzed, almost unsure of myself if I was hearing things right, turning back to look at Clara who had a big smile on her face.
''No, no I promised you a trip to another planet, but if that's not for you now then-'' before The Doctor could finish, I had to stop myself from squealing.
''Seriously!'' I exclaimed, there was nothing I could do that stopped the sheer happiness on my face, and really I didn't want to cover it up.
Not one bit.
''Seriously'' The Doctor replied, a smile gracing his face, and I hoped he knew how thankful and happy he was making me in that very moment.
''What about Clara-'' I turned to her.
''Are you not coming'' I asked my smile disappearing, was it that bad she didn't want to go on trip with me with them both?
''I have to have some routine, every now and then I come back for a week and try and have a somewhat normal life before he comes back and drags me to another planet'' she explained placing a hand on my arm.
''You are going to have so much fun, and knowing him you'll probably see me in a second'' she joked as I laughed giving her a tight hug, turning back around to see The Doctor look at us both fondly befroe running back into the Tardis.
God I never wanted to leave this place.
''Okay so shoot where are we going'' I stated coming to stand on the other end of the console as The Doctor frantically ran around it, small smirk on his face as he pushed as many buttons he could.
Sometimes I thought he would just see how many buttons he could press in a short amount of time.
''Anywhere, everywhere-'' he looked up, pulling down a lever as he started walking towards me.
