Chapter 3: The Loss of The Star

The next morning after a nice nap in the comforts of their nest Violet, Wukong, and Xiaotian all woke up and started to get ready for the day and after they got ready they and their subjects all started to celebrate the long awaited arrival of their prince. The party that they threw was in full swing and even during the party Nezha, QuanYin, and the Buddha showed up and joined the party.

Sun Wukong: Hey guys, glad you could make it to the party.

Violet: Yea, thank you guys for coming. We're grateful you're here, did you guys bring gifts?

QuanYin: Of course we bought gifts for the little prince.

Nezha: I did indeed bring some presents for the little one.

Buddha: I am also glad that we came to celebrate the arrival of your little prince. Though I do have some gifts for your little one.

Violet: That's amazing, why don't you guys go and put your gifts on the table over there and we will open them later.

Nezha, QuanYin, and the Buddha all put their gifts on the table with the others and joins in the festivities. A couple of hours later the presents are opened. Nezha's gift was a blanket with peaches embroidered on it, QuanYin's gift was a red headband that has a protection spell on it, and finally the Buddha's gift was a peach of immortality peach pit. Violet and Wukong look at the Buddha with looks of shock.

Violet: Um, forgive me for asking this but why are you gifting our cub a peach of immortality's peach pit?

Sun Wukong: I would like to know that too since I was told to never go near them ever again after what I did in heaven after that peach festival incident.

Buddha: (Lightly chuckles) Well it's nothing like that I promise you both, actually this is a gift for the three of you.

Violet: Say what now?

Sun Wukong: What?

Buddha: Yes I am gifting the three of you this immortality peaches pit so that way you can have your own peach of immortality tree so that when your cub comes of age you could give him the choice of becoming immortal like the both of you.

Sun Wukong: Really?

Violet: Are you serious, you're really allowing us to grow an immortality peach tree without any negative impacts at all?

Buddha: Nothing of that sort, no. Think of this as a bonus, a reward within an award.

Sun Wukong: Wow, I honestly didn't think that would happen like at all. I mean, I know I'm a sucker for the peaches but I really didn't think that getting an immortality peach tree would be possible.

Violet: I didn't think this would be possible either.

Buddha: Well I will tell the both of you this, I actually made this one special.

Sun Wukong: Special how?

Buddha: It's special because it grows quicker than other immortality peach tree's so it would only need a total of five-hundred years before it becomes a true immortality peach tree. So in five-hundred years you'll have a fully grown immortality peach tree. Then when the time is right and you believe that Xiaotian is ready to choose if he wants to become immortal you will have a peach ready for him and you Wukong will have more peaches to snack on without getting into trouble.

Sun Wukong: That is really interesting to know so thank you.

Violet: Yes thank you very much for this gift. We will look out for this seed and when the time comes for our cub to choose we will use it wisely.
